I order baklava from this shop on all special occasions, as all members of my family just love it. We have shipped it to friends and it arrives fresh and they also just loved it. The staff is friendly and very helpful in helping to size my orders. I used to live in Detroit and buy Baklava when I went... More

The Baklava Shop crew came together to make an amazing homemade carrot cake, a special treat for the Pastor at my cousin's wedding. They were able to accommodate our request with just a couple days notice. The store was cute and clean, a perfect little spot filled with the sweet up north charm of a specialty store. The three tier... More

The backlava was also very good with flaky Phillo crust and a tasty pistachio filling. We choose pistachio but there are other flavor a. The owner was very... More

We've noticed this cute little shop before but today we saw they were open. What a find! The baklava is the best we've ever tasted, and we have had many styles. Homemade slices of bread are ready for you to take home, cinnamon rolls, biscotti in cinnamon and other flavored. Everything is SO good. And we didn't even try lunch... More

I am not a huge fan of Baklava, but as the owner suggested, I hadn't tried hers, and she was right. This baklava is truly delicious, perfect combination of texture and flavor, and a lot of variety. This is a lovely little stop between Alpena and Gaylord, would highly recommend. We sampled the baklava as well as lemon bars and... More
