We come to U of M hospital for appointments and one day we asked a Dr for a recommendation for some place close. The best onion rings I have ever had. They are a good 1 1/2 inches wide. great wait staff.

The turkey Reuben sported thin slices of meat that could have come from a low-end chain grocery store. The grilled cheese sandwich was essentially flavorless, and its sourdough bread bore a strong family resemblance to Wonder Bread. Casey's attracts a loyal crowd of regulars (the noise level is very intense), so maybe this is a place to come for the... More

Picked Casey's Tavern off of TripAdvisor during a quick shopping trip up to Ann Arbor. Great pick! Catfish tacos were delicious as was the Reuben. Our server was very attentive and friendly. A very cozy pub. We will go back again. The onion rings looked fantastic! Can't wait to try them. Very reasonably priced. Right across from the train station.

Hot dogs, chili, hamburgers, other sandwiches, all well done. Great service in a very unpretentious place. Would eat there again, and if I lived in Ann Arbor, would eat there often.

Was in town and Casey's had been recommended. It is a neighborhood bar with a good vibe. It was packed at the time, but that is a good sign. Had some good beer and beef sandwich. Excellent staff which is the main thing that brings back a customer. If you go, parking is a bit limited, but there is a... More

I really enjoy Casey’s - the atmosphere, the friendly waiters, and the tavern style food. Burgers with great beef are a speciality. Prepared perfectly. The menu is varied with Chicken options, great salads and a special of the day. There is a bar in the Tavern - and it gets crowded past 5:30. This is not a large place but... More

I've always liked Casey's. Nice atmosphere, good burgers, reasonable drinks. It has a tavern atmosphere in a city that is trying to upscale & urbanize. You can sort of picture Norm from the old Cheers tv show walking in and everyone calling out his name. The problem is that if you're not Norm, it's not all that friendly. It's okay,... More

A great place for lunch & dinner. Wonderful burgers and sandwiches. I especially liked their Salmwich which consists broiled salmon on a bun.

I'm not exactly the townie I used to be. Strangely enough, this was my first time in Casey's Tavern. The inside is a bit cramped, yet the close quarters feel OK anyway. I went near opening time so parking was fairly easy. A nice beginning. Before I forget, there's some nicely commissioned artwork featuring the Ann Arbor scene. Lots of... More
