We lived and worked in A2 throughout the 1970s and ate at the Fleetwood frequently. Then we moved to another state and hadn't been back in 40+ years. We had an occasion to stop in A2 for the day and decided the Fleetwood was a Must Do! The ambience is still 1970s (awesome memories) and the menu hasn't changed much (thankfully.) We all got breakfast and, well, it just wasn't quite what we remembered. The hash browns didn't have that nice brown crust from the griddle and the bread seemed to be 'buttered' with corn oil or something. Eggs were perfect but the bacon was too rubbery. Would I go there again? Absolutely! Memories trump (sorry for that word) rubbery bacon every time!

We had a very positive experience. The service was impeccable and the food came out fast. I had the hippie gyro skillet, kids had pancakes and hubby had corn beef hash skillet. Delicious!! Highly recommend!

I am newly working in downtown AA and came here with seasoned co-workers who love this place. I was in the mood for chili fries and orders them to go. I was not disappointed. They were great and the staff is very friendly. I will definitely come back again!

Small diner and you’ll probably have to queue a few minutes to get in. However, once you do, the service is friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. The place was packed when we were there mid morning Saturday and everyone was enjoying themselves. Lovely place.

I grew up in Ann Arbor and have eaten at Fleetwood Diner many times over the years. I normally get burgers whenever I eat there because it's one of the few places that you can still get a GREAT BURGER. I now live a hour away but I still go every now and then to visit and if I have time I stop and eat at Fleetwood.

We went for a late lunch and the food did not disappoint. I would get the steak sandwich again as takeout daily if I lived there.

Been here a few times, pretty impressed. It is a diner, the food is good, but nothing special. Some oddities such as the hippie hash and fried mushrooms are on the menu. Of course, breakfast, coney dogs burgers and fries are on the menu. I enjoy the half and half (beef/bacon) patty melt. Extremely good in my opinion! The diner itself is a small, trailer-like place with stickers all over the place - fun thing to look at while waiting for food. Service is alright, nothing too special unfortunately. Would recommend for a diner in Ann Arbor!

One of A2’s favorite greasy-spoons and historic landmark in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Excellent service! Our 6 year old loved the architecture :) and then had a BLAST at Heavenly Metal before the Fabulous owner/ operator decided to close the doors.

I'm a former Ann Arbor resident who makes sure to get breakfast here on return visits. Eggs over medium and hash browns were as good as ever. However, the waiter was engrossed in conversations with his cook and a customer at the counter, to the detriment of customers seated at tables. Also, I ordered my toast on a separate plate, and when it didn't come like that and I pointed that out, he made a sarcastic remark. Great strategy to keep your customers coming back.

So if they had no styrofoam for take out our review could have been higher. But if you eat in regular plates and silverware just take out is Styrofoam. We had the chicken strips dinner, grilled cheese, and turkey Ruben. All good and the fries were good too. Great prices. And I believe they are 24/7. Great patio with sun or shade.

Fleetwood had your typical yummy Michigan/Detroit-area Coney Dogs as well as some odd specialties. Hippie Hash was a mashup of a breakfast hash with many vegetables. The coneys and fries were good but average. The seating is extremely tight, best for slender folks with no coats. We brought umbrellas as well as coats due to weather so we were part of the problem. Service was good and the servers were gracious.

Don't let this place fool you! It looks like it was dropped into position from the 50's & was absolutely amazing! The service was impeccable & the food was delicious! Large quantities for the price too! The coney dogs were wonderful & you must try their onion rings! The farmers omelet was huge & looked delicious! A must try diner!!

Love places like Fleetwood and wish there were more of them. This place is tiny and can likely only fit 20 or so inside. It was crowded when we arrived but the waitress rearranged the seating and got us a spot at the counter. This place is a blast from the past. Good food. Great portions. Adequately priced. Highly recommend
