Stopped in for drinks and appetizers. Drink specials were impressive and hours were long. Typical crowded college bar with hit and miss service. Our server was new, nice, and really slow. Busy Friday night may not be the best time to train in staff. Enjoyed...the hot wings.More

Six of us met for dinner, drinks and an informal meeting after a tough day of work. We should have been warned when it was empty & every TV was blaring the SAME talk sports show but we persisted. Our server was sweet but not...especially on top of things. Much worse, the food was not ok. Don’t get the Irish stew; undercooked but tough (strange combo). Just not anything like advertised, sadly.More

The Potato Leek Soup here is the best. Perfect for a cold winter day in A-squared. And, just a nice place to hang overall.

A UM fan sanctuary where you can toast the team before or after the win! Lots of memorabilia to see which will get you in the winning mood. Have fun with your fellow fans and above all: Go Blue!

Great little college bar. Happy hour is 8 hrs every day of the week. Must have over 100 drinks on the happy hr menu, just great. Food has been really good from the burgers to the apps. Can't wait to come back.

The Blue Leprechaun is a great college bar. Cheap drinks and good bar food are plentiful and there are a ton of seats. I went in with a large group and everyone enjoyed their drinks. I ordered a Kentucky mule, which was excellent. Later in...the night, it was a bit harder to get a glass of water, though. Overall, this is a great spot for cheap drinks.More

I was one of a large group of forty in Blue Leprechaun's Red Den, on a day where the ground floor area had people, though not too crowded. Our server Josh managed to keep up with every person coming into the den, keeping good track...of our drink and meal orders. I had not expected much for cheap pub grub, so when I had dug into the Duet of Chicken (something along those lines), I was surprised by the tenderness of the lemon-glazed chicken breasts, and the perfect fluff of the mashed potatoes. The fact that there was even room for a group of forty is a strong testament in favour of how Blue Leprechaun is managed.More

My wife and I stopped in this restaurant for some lunch one day. I had the BLT with fries and it was a decent size and had good taste. Now my wife on the other hand had the sliders and she said they were the...best she's ever had and that we would be coming back. The atmosphere is nice, it was the middle of the afternoon so not to crowded. The service from the waitress was ok, but kinda slow. Also, the time it took to get our food when we ordered was longer than most other places like this that I've been to. Overall, the food and price were good, the service was ok, and the kitchen was slow. I will come back again just because of the food.More

We stopped in for a beer and a quick bite at a very slow time on Saturday. The service was very good considering it is a college bar and the food was better than average for the same. We were served promptly. A Saturday in...May does not have a lot going on in regards to sports but we saw some Tigers fans trickle in as we left. It looks like a fun and affordable place to watch a sports and have a beer.More

Decent college bar but not enough selection on tap. New Castle in bottles is just about room temperature, which isn’t terrible, unless you’re looking for an ice cold beer. Food was ok and service was good

We go to every home football in Ann Arbor and probably start at Blue Leprecaun 90% of the time (we have been going for many years). We obviously keep going back because we like it so much. Well, what a disappointment we had this past...Saturday. We started with Bloody Mary's and could hardly drink them. Way too much ice and pickle juice. We ordered Chicken Fingers and Fries and Fish and Chips (fries). The actual chicken fingers were really good; however, the ranch dipping sauce was like water?? The fish was just plain awful. Way too much batter and overcooked both outside and inside (the fish was almost hard). The fries were very good. As this is "our place" we will definitely give it one more try to see if that was just a one time occurence....we sure hope so.More

I was there with a group of seven for an early business dinner. The place was nearly empty! My guess is that the students and others pack this place later on as they seemed to be working to make sure all was in order. The...food was very good. The selection of beer on tap was okay. The service was attentive and no one had any trouble with their order. I’m glad to know there is good food at a good price that is near where I am frequently on South University.More
