Small place in a small shopping center. They don’t accept Amex. It's cozy and has pleasant scent of delicious Korean food, appetizing. We started with the dukboki app and will share the braised mackerel. We decided to share since we have more Koreans spots to...hit on this side of town. They gave us barley tea to start after being seated. The glass top keeps shifting on us, could use some 3M clear plastic stoppers. We are hungry and ready to get our Korean on here. Food smells good, wafting from the other tables. The dukboki is delicious, spicy, the rice cakes are nice and chewy and the veggies are julienned. I could easily have eaten the dukboki sauce with just rice alone, it was that good. App amount and just right. The braised mackerel was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked, cut into pieces. My husband wasn’t loving having to take the skin off, wasn’t easy or the bones in the fish fillet either. He said he was too much work. It still tasted delicious to me but be carful while eating it that you don’t swallow any bones though. Loving the purple rice here too. The banchans were yummy. We had the shredded white radish, seaweed, kimchi, cucumber, potatoes and rolled eggs. They have nice classical music in the background, classy! The pretty stencils of the trees on the walls are a nice touch. They gave us 4 red grapes for our dessert with our bill, they are the nice big juicy ones but has seeds in them. Both our waitress and the owner were attentive.More
This small place in a shopping plaza serves good Korean food. It was super busy and there was only one waitress who deserves a medal for her running around and efficiency. Everyone in our group liked the entrees and our food was hot when served....The teryiaki chicken was quite tasty and the rice was excellent. The chicken soup was also very good. There is no liquor license but that didn't seem to deter the crowd. We were fortunate not to need the bathroom because it was out of service.More
My meal was seasoned well and tasty, bulgogi with pork and squid, but the squid was tough. My 4 family members had bibimbap with mixed reviews. Overall, they felt it was bland. I expected a better meal for the price. Service was good though.
This little family restaurant is located at a shopping plaza next door to Bosch's market. They have 2 hours break (3:00-5:00pm) so we arrived there just while they're open for dinner. The dishes were fresh and tasty even with small dishes Kim-chi. The staff were...friendly and nice. Be prepared to wait for the table during the dinner time.More
We had a variety of people in our group including vegetarians and carnivores. There were many things to choose from for all of us and everything was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It is a small restaurant and does fill up at...busy times.More
I had to return when I was in Ann Arbor, Mi. 100% excellent, made to order dish. Staff was very friendly. Beautiful orchids adorn the windows. Serene atmosphere.
Bewon is exactly what it seems to be: a small neighborhood Korean restaurant. The owners are gracious, and the service is efficient. The food is consistently good, and judging by the number of Koreans who eat here, it’s relatively authentic. We go here for a...quick meal, and we have never been disappointed.More
Relatively new place in the Plymouth-Green Shopping Center. It's quickly become popular as the food and service are very good. The Korean community is growing in Ann Arbor, especially among the UM student body and they want a nice restaurant that serves traditional fare -...this is it.More
What a wonderful restaurant. The staff was so friendly. The food was amazing. Each dish was prepared as ordered fresh. I recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Ann Arbor, Mi. area.
