This was a cute restaurant with Polish, Hungarian décor. The food was very authentic to what you would have in Europe (per my friend that has been to Hungary/Poland). I had the potato pancake with goulash on top. It was good. Nothing like I have had before. The prices were not bad for lunch time. Coffee was served in cute... More

Food is a little pricey as for my taste, but it's also absolutely delicious! You get what you pay for and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice too

My wife and I shared perogis as an appetizer and they were excellent. We then had potato pancakes and the paprikash and both were tremendous. The atmosphere was pure European as were the portions, just enough to fill you up. We will go back again soon.

Amadeus has been one of my favorite places in Ann Arbor. Inside the restaurant is just like being in Europe; seating is cozy and décor is pleasant. Our waitress was great. She was the only one, so I'm glad we got there early. When more people got there she was stretched very thin. Food is perfectly authentic and everything I've... More

We first discovered Amadeus when we lived in Ann Arbor while my wife was in graduate school. Attracted by the unique Polish fare (my family is Polish and from the South , so Polish food is rare), we quickly fell in love with the ambience and the menu. The authentic dishes and less common beer selections are delicious. It is... More

We had the beef stew and chicken paprika. Both solid as always. Nice Euro feeling to the place, including the indifferent hostess. Waitress solid. No piano player ("He has kids, couldn't make it"). Asked for something on their sound system, which they accommodated. Prices fair.

Music set the mood. Kitchen was a little slow but food was fresh and authentic. I had the vegetarian plate with sweet cheese perogie, potato pancake, & Waldorf salad. Husband had the goulosh - all excellent

After a gap of 27 years, I returned today to Amadeus and the quality of the food has not diminished a bit. Besides the wonderful food and pastries, the service was charming.

Pierogi plate for my daughter, Bitki for Dalma and smoked salmon and caviar for me. Excellent selection of wines and beer. Wonderful atmosphere of Central Europe and excellent service. We visit every chance we get.

My husband grew up on polish and German food. He said it was nostalgic, but we both thought the food was average. The decor is cozy and enjoyable. The service was average.
