In 40 years it seems not to have changed one wit. In a world of increasingly homogenized chains, Frank's is an original that deserves to be cherished. And the food's pretty good, too!

An excellent old school / greasy spoon style restaurant. Opens at 7am except Sunday (8am). Large portions, well cooked food. I would recommend the corn beef hash and eggs. Served by genuinely nice people.

I ate here during the Ann Arbor art fair. Only a few tables filled with customers inside but they had a grill going and several tables of customers outside. I had a gyros and fries which was just average. Waitress was attentive. Old outdated restaurant.

Love to walk around Ann Arbor and find new things. Found this place as we were walking and decided to stop. Classic diner menu with some specials. I had the cabbage rolls with mashed potatoes and it was perfect for a cold day! Good sandwiches and breakfast. It's nothing fancy and crowded during 'normal' eating times. Old school diner.

We have been visiting Frank's for over forty years. It is reliable for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A real diner, it offers the standards, but the macaroni and cheese is one of the best I have eaten. We go there not only for the food, but for the nostalgia.

This place is definitely a greasy spoon and very easily missed if you don't know what you're looking for. Inside is small, but it's very much worth a visit. The service is homey and the food is filling. The French toast is sooooo good, and an order of that can last you quite a while. We came here in sort... More

One of the best classic breakfasts I've had in years. Great "diner coffee," constantly topped up, and great omelettes. Dirt cheap.

I've only had breakfast at Frank's but it's great! I see a couple of reviews saying that service is slow, and that could be true (I usually order carryout), but the food is really good. If you want a really good, but reasonably priced breakfast, go to Frank's!

Stopped while in area. I had a very tasty grilled cheese and bacon with potato salad, both great! My mom had a club sandwich and fries, also very good. Our server was excellent, very friendly, and so was the owner, Pete. This was originally Frank's, his brother in law. Would definitely return when in the area. They have breakfasts, burgers... More
