New to the area and was excited for Mediterranean food. Loved the outdoor patio and it’s in walking distance is tons of shops. The food was good, not great. Tabouli barely had any parsley, mostly cucumber and food and hummus were bland. Menu was limited due to COVID so I will give them another try when things get back to normal.

This place does it right again and again. Always high quality meals and generous portions. I tend to get the same thing every time - chicken shawarma meal with one side (usually tzatziki). Love that the chicken is breast meat and not dark meat. This time I tried the Mjaddara rice instead of the house rice and I was blown away - delicious!

One of my favorite places to grab a snack or meal in Ann Arbor! The felafels are delicious and I often order an extra couple to take home. The sandwiches and salads are wonderful. Tiny meals, or full dinners, either way. But the desserts are great too, even the tiniest cookie is a gem.
Sometimes I am lucky with street parking, or there is a city lot behind the restaurant.
Nice service.

Order at the front counter for carry out orders.
Find a table and sit down if you are staying to eat here at all.
My husband wasn’t able to find a parking spur within a half mile and dropped me off to get a salad.
The ordering process is slow and inefficient. I considered calling in and order to get in a food order faster than waiting at the counter. It’s a mess. Could be due to staffing issues, it seems.
This family sat down to dine-in, per the sign and no one ever came to them at all. They ended up getting back in line after me to put in their order then.
I have watched a few people walk out after their food wasn’t coming out in a timely fashion. The family that ordered after me has received their food at their table before my simple Fattoush salad to go…hmm
It took 30 minutes to get this salad. The salad was okay.

Knowing that Ann Arbor is supposed to be a mecca for international foods and fine dining, and being from out-of-town, we were excited to order food for take-out to take to my sister's (who lives in Ann Arbor) for dinner. 1) They had no "family size" items, so we ordered four dinners, two veggie grape leaves with sides of tabouli and two chicken shawarma with sides of fatoush salad. 2) The food was extremely bland and the chicken was dry. Even the garlic sauce was unremarkable. 3) They shorted us the two fatoush salads! For four people we had only two small salads whose main ingredient was green onions in abundance. Middle Eastern food is my favorite and in Lansing we have Aladdin's, Sultan's, Tabouli, and Ozzie's Kabob, among others, that serve complex, flavorful, authentic, Middle Eastern food. If you are craving GOOD Middle Eastern Cooking make the one hour drive to the Capital City!

Maybe I set my expectations too high, but their chicken shawerma(the only thing I had) was very uninspiring. It wasn't bad, but it was a far cry from any good place in NYC, not too mention pretty much any shawerma hole in the wall in Israel. Grilled chicken was a bit dry, the sauce very bland and very little filling was put into pita.

It’s kind of weird that you basically sit down to wait for your food after paying so it feels like fast food rather than a restaurant which is too bad. Service almost nonexistent yet tips are expected. Might as well bring back the Automat. Anyway food was really good and reasonably priced for these days. I enjoy and would go again.

I am new to the AA area and heard rave reviews from my coworkers about this place. I came for a lunch meeting and had a tabbouleh (sp.?) salad with ground lamb sliced over top. It was amazing. I also enjoyed a piece of walnut baklava afterwards which was very delicious! I will definitely be returning here again soon!

It's no wonder that Jerusalem Garden brings in the crowds. This place has been around for years. I loved my fattoush salad, falafel balls, and hot sauce. Absolutely delicious. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. Staff is very kind and helpful.
When in Ann Arbor don't miss out on Jerusalem Garden. One of the best places to eat in town. Everything is made fresh. Very tasty food.

Great food, service and price. Homemade tabbuleh, baba gannoush both excellent. Chicken shawarma was a highlight

This is decent but not the best I ever had. I don't like the way they cut the kofta. The green/jalapeno Falafel was an interesting take. It was missing something.

Stopped here for lunch while in town and ordered the shawarma with a side of fries. The shawarma was good but the yogurt sauce kind of overpowered the flavor of the chicken. The fries were actually quite tasty.

We have used Jerusalem Garden to cater at our school events. The food is well-prepared and the delicious. We typically order the pita wraps (shawarmas) and tabbouli, fattoush, Everything is freshly prepared.
