The food was great. Reminded me of my time in the army living in Germany. Prices are very reasonable. Our server Melissa was just outstanding. She was on top of everything our whole meal. I will definitely be stopping here on my Ann Arbor trips.

This is one of our favorite places to visit when in the area! Their food is wonderful! Their Spatzel appetizer is a MUST have when we go there.

My wife and I eat here at lease once a quarter when I get a craving for good Cabbage rolls. Reminds me of my Mom's and it always puts a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart. Never had a bad meal here...

As a German, it was great to visit a German restaurant in Michigan and show my American friends all the foods, beers, the great atmosphere and some nice German decorations and phrases on the walls. However, the food is not as good as in a restaurant in Germany. Of course, the have to adapt their menu to the American customers,... More

A group of us were getting together for dinner and decided to give Metzger's a try. It's casual but well done inside with lots of German decor (cuckoo clocks, steins, etc.). They have a large menu so we were all able to find something to try without any problem. The food was okay, though the Vienna chicken was bland. The... More

Spent 2 years in Black Forest area of Germany- in US Army. This is the only real German food I have found in southern Mich. I travel there 1 to 2 times a year. I have never been disappointed. Took my brother from Florida there. He works in the Restaurant industry, and was very impressed with the food, beer ,... More

Very good German food. The daily specials are indeed special. Their Metwurst is very good and the potato pancakes are crispy and tasty

A traditional German restaurant with all the menu items you would expect. We had schnitzel and bratwurst but the real start of the show was the potato salad...incredible!.....and the red cabbage.....spectacular.

First time at Metzger's. Absolutely loved it. Wonderful atmosphere for a strip mall. Service was excellent. Food came out very quickly, and was very, very good. Dinner was expensive, but worth it once in a while.

Our first time in Ann Arbor, and we chose Metzgers due to the high reviews Trip Advisor had given it. We were not disappointed! We met friends who had recently located to that area and they enjoyed it as well. The combo/sampler dinners were what three of us chose and enjoyed immensely.
