My company hosted a retirement party for me at the The Chop House. This was my first visit, and it was glorious. Will definitely return. There were about 20 people in our group which was perfect for the room on the lower level that a...More

Unlike my last review that drilled an establishment across the street, The Chop House is an excellent venue with great service and a great meal. While prime steaks are their deal, go for the venison rack, lots of flavor, and done right. Cuddos!

The fine food was delicious and prepared with details and thought. The atmosphere is warm. The restaurant is classically decorated. Waiters and waitresses are well trained. Not of the top restaurants in Ann Arbor. The price is very expensive.

I really liked this place. I got the beef wellington. Tender, cooked as a good steak should be. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. It is a little expensive but a great special treat place. The Banana foster bread pudding with butter rum sauce...More

My hubby and I were guest rounding out a group of six that dined here after the University of Michigan win over Nebraska. Go Blue! With exception of the bread, which was not thoroughly baked, our other dishes were incredibly good. I can only remember...More

I hit this restaurant a couple of times a year. The food is always above par, my only negative being the noise level. I prefer quieter restaurants, but those are few and far these days. The atmosphere is dark, but cozy, despite the noise. Most...More

We enjoyed good food and service on our Monday night visit. The food was good but not remarkable. Our waitress had a great personality and added some charm. This was our first visit. The restaurant looks upscale and we might use it again for business...More

Beautiful room. Indifferent wait staff. Waitress clearly wishing she was anywhere else. Jaw dropping wine list - maybe five bottles out of a hundred UNDER $150. We love steak, we wanted a nice meal, but we all agreed food definitely not worth the high price....More

Selected this restaurant for a special dinner with our adult kids after a Michigan football game. We had traveled from Atlanta and Charlotte and, based on mostly great reviews, were expecting great food and service. Cindy, our server, was literally world-class. She attended to our...More

Depending on your menu choices, and how many drinks you order, around $200 or less. On a recent dinner, ordered oysters each, Venison chops, South African Lobster Tail, salads, 2 drinks each, and sharing a dessert, was just... More

You can tri to book it on open table web site too. Bot usually try to book well ahead of the date you like to dine there. It is a very popular restaurant with excellent food.
