Go for the Sunday Brunch

We went for the brunch buffet one weekend. The amount and variety of food were comparable to other big brunch buffets...but it all still tasted like it came from a buffet. The waffles and prime rib were good but not great. The bloody Mary I ordered was pretty good, and it was only $5. Overall though, for $29.99/person, I'm not... More

One of the finest dining experiences in town, Gandy Dancer offers great food, with excellent service and style. If you're lucky, a train will come through and rattle the building, adding to the charm of the former train depot. All the meals are suburbly prepared and service. Don't miss dining here while in town. Self park or valet park are... More

There were shells in my scallop appetizer (which was not 'dynamite') and bones in my white fish. I wouldn't expect either from a place that bills itself as a purveyor of fine seafood. Should've known we were in trouble when the hostess was extremely rude. There are a lot of excellent food options in Ann Arbor (for less $$). This... More

I've driven past this place many times; finally stopped for lunch. They offer free valet parking (just a tip) and metered parking across the street. This is a very large restaurant with a nice, large window area (plenty of seating by the window) that looks out over the Amtrak train tracks. I'm not sure how I would classify this restaurant,... Went to eat for a celebration! 6 people in our party and our waiter did a fantastic job! Apps: We order the almond crusted brie, escargot, and the raw oysters! Very good :) Dinner: We had crab legs, lobster, scallops, the Whitefish Charley (my personal meal), mussels and pasta, and crab cakes! All looked and smelled awesome! They brought out... More

For the cost, the Gandy Dancer offers solid food choices. The dining room was full on a mid-December afternoon, so we chose a quick seat at the bar. We had 2 IPA Fish & Chips that set us back $30 total, plus a chocolate dessert special for $8. Service was acceptable; ambiance rocks.

A little over priced but one of the best seafood restaurants around. Averaged $60 per meal all in including appetizers, drinks tax tip but that was expected. Service was top notch, well trained wait staff and support people were well trained and attentive. Had calamari with peppers in a sweet chili sauce....was delicious but the quantity of calamari was sparse.... More

This restaurant is adjacent to the railroad tracks and when a train goes by, everyone responds. it had been more than 20 years since our last visit with our son, and this time we brought our granddaughter. It was just as good as it was all those years ago.

Kinda funny. I've been here a few times, always very good. It was our 15th wedding anniversary. Had numerous drinks around town. We were hungry, stopped in at 10pm Saturday night, no reservations. Hostess said we would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes. No problem a few more drinks! Before we even ordered a drink they said our table... More
