I keep trying to love this place. It is one of the few restaurants that have happy hour outside. That is the ONLY reason I go there. The menu is VERY limited. If you want something healthy, you have to get a salad. I have tried pretty much everything here and have nothing good to say.

An excellent choice for a great lunch or dinner with a wide selection of great food. Some of the seating is a bit cozy but it is very well done.

Great seafood pastas! Elegant ambiance. Nice place to celebrate a special occasion with family and friends. Be sure to tell them if there's a birthday!

Attracted by the bustling summer sidewalk cafe activity we chose the cooler inside for a dinner for two. Decor was mid-20th century downtown with a striking bacchanalian mural. Overall setting was amenable to quiet conversation. Menu descriptions were more intriguing than the eventual dishes. Shaved brussel sprout salad was nicely presented but bland; fresh greens were better. Seafood risotto was... More

Went after the Real Madrid vs Chelsea game - all along Main St was packed. Service was still great. Good sized dining area on the sidewalk. The tables close to road were literally on the curb. Started with a pizza - crust was a little different - more like a flat bread. Good variety on the menu - salads, pizza,... More

This is yet another overpriced Italian restaurant with clumsily prepared food and white tablecloths. Your money will be better spent at Olive Garden, or better yet your local grocery.

My wife and I were in Ann Arbor for the first time, for an art fair. We came upon Gratzi by chance. The dining room was classy, quiet, and relaxed. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The Buratta appetizer with fig reduction sauce was outstanding, as were our Farfalle with shrimp and Branzino entrees. Not extensive, but very good... More

One of the better Italian restaurants in Ann Arbor. A bit over priced but delicious food and extensive menu. Always best, Reservations help.

I visited Gratzi during the height of frenzy of Ann Arbor Art Fair. The town was packed to capacity! We made a reservation and were seated immediately. This restaurant is awesome! Great waitstaff. Fabulous menu, and as busy as they were, we were not rushed. The food and menu is wonderful! If you live in Michigan (or not) Gratzi is... More

Gratzi, an elegant Italian restaurant with distinct style, was founded in downtown Ann Arbor, Mich. in December 1987. Formerly the Orpheum Theater, which screened the most popular movies of the day in the 1930s, Gratzi maintains the flair of the dramatic history still preserved today in the restaurant's elegant décor and ambience. Seated above Gratzi's bar is a grand sculpture of Orpheus himself, the great poet and musician, overlooking dining room guests, while a beautifully painted Renaissance-style mural depicting an ancient bacchanal reinforces the indulgent and purely pleasurable atmosphere. Indulge in the purely pleasurable atmosphere and savor unique flavors of regional Italian cuisine and wine.
