I have never been disappointed while coming here. Tonight I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was spectacular! The eggplant was perfectly breaded and everything was just wonderful. My friend had the salmon with gnocchi, I'll admit I was a little jealous... it looked AMAZING 😍 Our server Tim was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. I would... More

I've been to Gratzi before and have had good experiences, but this past Saturday was very disappointing. Without exaggeration it took nearly 45 minutes to receive our cocktails after ordering and close to two hours to receive our meals. At one point one of the guests in our party asked for a second cocktail and it took nearly 30 minutes... More

I had dinner here on a Monday evening with a colleague while in Ann Arbor for work, and we enjoyed sitting outside. The food we ordered (1 salad, 1 pizza, the penne entree, 2 veggie sides {asparagus and spinach} and a dessert) was all tasty, but given when I had heard about Gratzi combined with the menu descriptions, I was... Service was mediocre, food was horrible. Nothing special or interesting about the dishes we ordered. Very expensive and extremely disappointing. There are so many good restaurants with better prices and better food in Ann Arbor, there is no point in visiting Gratzi.

Love the ambience of the historic location. The kitchen was somewhat off the night we went and the pace of service was uneven. Not our best visit on this annual trip to Ann Arbor.

I mean, the quality of my lobster spaghetti was perfectly acceptable, but for $26, I expected the details to count for more. On top of that, my dessert's gelato topping suffered some harsh freezer burn. Oh, well. The service also could have worried less about describing the meals through long monologues and more about tending to customer needs in a... More

This used to be a go to place for me and my family when I lived in A2 and when I visit family now. After being at CS Mott, we decided to grab a great, late lunch. We were seated at 3:30 and we actually handed 3 lunch menus and 3 dinner menus. We realized this when the server told... More

Excellent for a date or to spend time with good friends. It is a quiet, elegant restaurant where you can have a nice conversation without the noise from lost places on Main Street. It has a beautiful bar and Italian decoration. A little bit pricy but quality is good. Nice wines.

I keep trying to love this place. It is one of the few restaurants that have happy hour outside. That is the ONLY reason I go there. The menu is VERY limited. If you want something healthy, you have to get a salad. I have tried pretty much everything here and have nothing good to say.

An excellent choice for a great lunch or dinner with a wide selection of great food. Some of the seating is a bit cozy but it is very well done.

Gratzi, an elegant Italian restaurant with distinct style, was founded in downtown Ann Arbor, Mich. in December 1987. Formerly the Orpheum Theater, which screened the most popular movies of the day in the 1930s, Gratzi maintains the flair of the dramatic history still preserved today in the restaurant's elegant décor and ambience. Seated above Gratzi's bar is a grand sculpture of Orpheus himself, the great poet and musician, overlooking dining room guests, while a beautifully painted Renaissance-style mural depicting an ancient bacchanal reinforces the indulgent and purely pleasurable atmosphere. Indulge in the purely pleasurable atmosphere and savor unique flavors of regional Italian cuisine and wine.
