We ate at Lena with 4 kids ages 8-17 and everyone had a great meal. Highlights included the baked goat cheese app, the burgers, short ribs, and the flan for dessert. Large dining room with modern fireplace. Lovely cocktails for adults and house brewed beers....More

The steak and shrimp tacos were good, but in general the food was too spicy. I wish they had mentioned the spicy nature of the food. The apple margarita was excellent. Service was good and the food was prompt.

Five of us went to Lena for dinner before a show. We arrived in time to participate in their Happy Hour, which is an outstanding bargain. They had a small selection of drinks and small plates for $5 each. They also had a Taco and...More

Located at the corner where Parthenon used to be. Great music, just the right level to get you notice, but not so loud that annoys. The guacamole was supposed to have a little spice in it, but I could not tell. Not the best I...More

Had a gift card for Habana/Lena to use and went to Ann Arbor recently to use it. Decided to either do Happy Hour or Brunch and went with the brunch option. Not a lot of options on the menu, but the ones we picked were...More

My review over a year ago had to be tempered. New chef or something and food is, I am sorry to say it, not good. We have tried twice thinking maybe the first bad meal was a fluke. Nope; disappointed again. Skip the food here....More

I was attracted to Lena because the outdoor seating is so appealing. The cocktails are fantastic & there's a great selection of liqours & beer. The food wasn't as expected, I admit that I was disappointed. Service was discombobulated and unorganized, yet friendly.

My son wanted to try this place. We had eaten here a few years ago when it was a greek restaurant. Totally redone. We were able to sit outside which was nice. I tried the Brazilian style beer on tap which was good. My son...More

I am not impressed at all. What really throws me is how dirty their outside seating is. Their food is ok.

Did not like the food or the cocktail I ordered and WAY overpriced for what I got. Did not leave feeling satisfied at all. The waitress was nice and attentive though.

The Pretzel Bell originally opened its doors in 1934 and became the campus watering hole of choice for nearly 50 years. Popular with students, athletes, professors, campus groups and Ann Arbor townies, the Pretzel Bell was a legend. Today, the legend has returned after closing more than 30 years ago. We look forward to evoking memories of past generations and introducing new fans to the famous Pretzel Bell experience. Our menu is a modern take on traditional American comfort food. Our University of Michigan inspired restaurant has two floors as well as the largest street side presence in Ann Arbor. The interior is made up of historic, reclaimed Detroit wood including gym floors and old bleachers. Decades of Michigan memorabilia fill the walls and cases, while the decor is warm, upscale casual. Both floors offer the highest quality service, food, drinks, and atmosphere. The upstairs and downstairs will both serve the "soon to be famous" Pretzel Bell menu, while the downstairs will transform into a lounge atmosphere after 10pm. The first floor will feature an open kitchen and a large Bell that will ring throughout as the names of those celebrating their birthdays are called and patrons cheer! Old school cocktails, beers that were cherished throughout the history of Pretzel Bell, new artisan cocktails and an extensive list of premium craft beers will be available. We are the perfect destination to watch your favorite sporting event, entertain clients in one of our private dining rooms, enjoy a romantic date in a cozy booths, and always the place to celebrate your birthday! With our one of a kind atmosphere, food, service and deeply rooted University of Michigan connections, the Pretzel Bell is the premier dining and drinking destination in Michigan!
