A bit out of the way in a typical mini mall but worth the trip. Best Indian food in Ann Arbor - with a Nepalese twist. Previously dined inside but because of Covid did takeout today. My favorite is the lamb stew. You choose spice...level when ordering online but be aware that their “mild” actually has no spice at all.More
I ordered 4 items
1. Shrimp chili- too much sauce and no flavor. 2. Vegetable chowmein - I won’t eat again only two bits. 3. Steam chicken Momo: pretty good. 4. Garlic naan: ok just finish 1 piece.
Maybe other dishes - no chowmein.
For Mother's Day, our son treated us (really his Mom, my wife and Oma, his grandmother, my Mama) to dinner out or rather dinner in. A 4:30 pm order would not be ready until 6:30 pm due to pandemic and this holiday impacts. BUT, it...was worth the wait, the flavors, the colors, the generous amounts of Chicken Butayko, Chicken and Lamb Polayko, Steamed Chicken Momo (dumplings) with ginger sauce, garlic Naan, Lamb Sherpa Stew (with perfectly cooked vegetables), sides of brothy lentil soup and rice were amazing, and finished with the creamy Mango Lassi drinks. Plenty of leftovers for next day lunch/dinner.More
I've been here several times. I focus on the Tibetan dishes and recently tried their lunch buffet. Delicious! I have no spice tolerance and my husband likes it as spicy as they can make it - we both enjoy our meals.
Went here for dinner with family. It was average. The appetizers were good. I tried both the chicken and lamb. They should slow cook it longer as it was a little too chewy for me. But the sauce was good.
We just stopped at Everest sherpa restaurant on our way to the hotel. The service is very good. The food fantastic big portions and great price. I got the lamb polayko and my husband the chicken makhani. Both very good.
