I never imagined vegan food could be this delicious.
We've eaten food from Vedge Cafe at least once a week for about a year--usually but not always takeout. I highly recommend it. My family is not vegan or even vegetarian, but the food is not...just healthy but so good.
Favorites: the taco salad, the mushroom and onion panini, the vedge stromboli. And most of all, when they are on the menu (which isn't always) the gyros. They are (no kidding) better than regular ones. For dinner we pair them with a kale salad to share--I had to be talked into trying that but it's excellent.
And the cheesecakes! amazing.More
I am always a little bit skeptical about vegetarian and vegan places because I am picky about my meatless products. I had the Georgia Reuben s'wich and it was excellent. Full of vegan turkey and piled high with homemade coke slaw, I couldn't tell that...it was vegan! I would definitely recommend this place. (And, you can even get a delicious vegan, gluten-free cupcake to go!)More
This was our first foray into the world of vegetarian and vegan food, and it was great! We were attempting to satisfy the needs of a family member on a vegan, no oils diet. The staff at Vedge Cafe was super helpful in guiding our...choices and modifications. The food came up super quickly and was delicious! We certainly didn’t feel that we were “missing” anything which had always been our mistaken notion of vegan food before. Panini sandwiches and soups were great! Highly recommended!More
I have been here a few times & always enjoy the fake "tuna" sandwich on whole wheat bread. My partner likes the kale salad. The smoothie is yummy & healthy too. There are different soups to choose from daily (I like the potato soup). The...place is clean, including a spotlessly clean bathroom. The staff is nice & accommodating. There are a few modern tables at which to sit and there is also take-out. There is a parking structure just around the corner from this restaurant for convenient parking.More
We were at a festival just across the street from this place and just happened upon it. What a fortuitous occasion! We thought they may have been closed given that there was no illuminated open sign, but seeing a woman exit the restaurant answered that...question. Once inside there was a glorious menu offering all sorts of vegan fare! We landed on toona sandwiches (which I make at home, but was really good here!), kale salad, lentil salad, a smoothie, and the vegan, gluten free cookies. Everything was delicious and spot on! The restaurant was clean, the staff was super friendly, and the food was heavenly, what more could you want?!More
