I had the sea bass. 1/2 order was $36, I got a piece of fish approximately 2"×2". It was overcooked and dry. I did love the curry salad that was served with it. My wife had the salmon. A slightly larger portion and a fair...price. It was cooked nicely, she enjoyed it. The wine was very good. I would give it another try, it was a nice meal.More

We chose Vinology as a restaurant to visit to celebrate Father’s Day in Ann Arbor with family. It was awesome. I know that the staff doesn’t control the weather, but their attention to detail and safety would lead me to believe it is possible. I...have been cooking and meal planning for three months straight, and the dining experience at Vinology was such a welcome relief. The charcuterie, dry aged filet and salmon were definite highlights. We met someone earlier in the day that worked at a local hospital and praised Vinology for providing food to their staff. I was thrilled to support their business and so happy that it was our memorable first night out in Ann Arbor.More

My wife & I went to Vinology for a Valentines Day Dinner. They had a special menu that they were serving that day. We ordered a couple of appetizers (including their Lobster Bisque!!) and had one of the excellent beers that they have on the...menu before ordering the Beef Bourguignon that they had on the special Valentines Day menu. We really didn't know what to expect, but we were blown away when it came to the table. It was without a doubt one of the best meals that we have ever had in Ann Arbor. Simply beautiful and delicious. It was everything that you could hope for in a meal. The thing that stuck out the most in the meal, other than the beef itself, were the red beets. I had never had this dish with red beets. They were so beautiful with the glaze that covered the entire dish and were the best tasting red beets that we have ever had. We noticed that they were serving flights of 3 small glasses of red wine for $18. We ordered a flight and it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. We talked about the meal all night and again when we woke up in the morning. WOW, was it good. We can't wait to have it again. I'm going to give it a try making it here at home, but I don't think that I will be able to come close. The staff was excellent, the ambiance was perfect. No loud music blaring and just the right amount of lighting. It was really the perfect evening for the both of us. We can't wait to go back.More

This past Sunday we just experienced our worst ever Sunday brunch. The food was good but the service was almost non existent. Probably because we only saw one working server. My wife wanted a cup of hot tea and had to go to the lady...at the front door to ask for it. Since the coffee was too strong for me, I asked the server when she brought our food to add hot water to my second cup of coffee. Never happened ! This kind of service for a $52.00 breakfast for 2 is inexcusable and very disappointing ! I hope their dinners are better but we will never be going there and we now live in Ann Arbor.More

We had some time to kill before a show at The Ark, so a drink beforehand just made sense. Grabbed a couple seats at the bar and started looking over the menu. Plenty to choose from, and the bartended let us know if we didn't...see something we liked, he would be happy to make something custom for us. Nice selection of wine, as well as other drinks. Had no trouble finding something tasty to sip on. The space there is cozy. Easy to sit back and relax, enjoy your drink. Friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!More

Our group of three had a pleasant evening here. We arrived early on a weekday evening and the place was very empty, but by the time we departed it had really filled up and was rather noisy. Service was very good - attentive but not...excessive. The food was tasty and enjoyed by all. We started with a margherita flatbread for the table to nibble with our drinks. It was very thin and crispy with a topping of cherry tomatoes, basil and melted mozzarella cheese. Then on to the entrees. Mine was the mushroom tacos - a meatless twist on a traditional favorite. The soft tacos were excellent though the mushroom filling was rather flavorless. The sriracha sauce on the side helped with that. My companions' entrees (chicken thighs on skewers and the gnocchi) were well received. Everything was very attractively plated. We shared one dessert, the lemon peach tart which was sour/sweet and tasty. The bill for 3 with a couple of drinks (some half-price during Happy Hour 4-6 pm) was around $100. Vinology is a solid dining choice on Main Street.More

The food was great, we sat downstairs and the ambiance was super cool. The only reason I am giving it a four was because the service was really slow, we spent 45 mins waiting for a first course. I highly recommend it but be prepared...to wait.More
