Vinology food and wine selection is fantastic. Even better is the service. We hosted a private party in The Bubble room on a Friday night. Owner John Jonah and son Vincent made sure every detail was covered. The manager, Mike Gibson, is a dream to work with. As an out-of-towner planning a big event, I had to trust that the... More

I took my wife to Vinology for her Birthday in early June. I never thought to give it a review until Now (august) when I ate a another great spot. Vinology might be the most creative meal we both have had in Michigan. Every bite was bursting with flavor and each bite was not necessarily the same flavors as the... More

When I asked my wife where she wanted to go to celebrate her birthday, she didn't hesitate...she said Vinology. We invited her parents, our sons and their wives. I made my reservation through Open Table and then followed up directly to let Vinology know that it was a special event, and asked if there was anything I could pay for... More

Vinology is our home away from home. We love to drop in after work for the best happy hour in town. Seriously, glasses of wine, appetizers, & flat breads are 1/2 off M-F 11am - 6pm. They don't pass off the cheap stuff either. Good quality wines and food! The staff & owner remember you and greet you with warm... More

Restaurant Week meant fixed price menus and I was a little concerned but it was great. Not too expensive, I did not feel taken advantage of. The food was delicious. I don't eat pork and was surprised my salmon dish had pork. The entree was described on the menu but missed the inclusion of the pork. They were very nice... More

I have reviewed this popular A2 restaurant recently for what is THE best bargain, that is, their half price Happy Hour select wines, amazing sliders and tasty flatbread pizzas. Tonight, six of us ventured there during Restaurant Week and came away blown away. Seems everything they serve is a taste sensation. Only one of us sampled off their regular offerings... More

Overall, I had a good group meal in the basement of Vinology. The atmosphere downstairs is a bit different than upstairs, but the old stone walls and exposed rafters is very pleasing. The appetizers served were good. The presentation was excellent, and included a variety of hummus, vegetables, and some other foods. The taste of everything was good. The meal... More

Vinology is my favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor, consistently meeting and surpassing expectations. Its wine selections are vast, the wait staff is pleasant, attentive, engaging, and knowledgeable about wine pairings, and the food is always outstanding -- flavorful and interesting while also delicate and never overpowering. I look forward to returning soon.
