They have the best sacher torte I´ve tried in Chile. Every time I´m in town I order one or two of them. They take a couple of days to make them, so plan ahead. It´s absolutely amazing!

My first test in many restaurants starts with ordering a manhattan. For me this sets the stage. The one served was perfect and served in a real manhattan glass, not usually found anywhere. Wife had a good pisco sour. Owners came over and introduced themselves; husband is the chef and wife is the hostess. Really nice people and he speaks... More

This is a small quaint restaurant off the main road. Family run with good old home cooked German food. Try the beef liver soup, its way better than it sounds. The roasted pork shank was full flavored and hearty. The shrimp and pasta was very good. We hit it on a colder, rainy day and couldn't have found a better... More

Gracious service! Food prepared to requests! Old time European. Doesn't command a second visit. Limited selection of appetizers and entree.

We were a bit worried but the owner speaks very good English. two other people had ostrich which I have had before and they were a bit skeptical but thoroughly enjoyed it. The Goulash was very, very good. Struesel for dessert made this an excellent meal. The owners made sure we understood the... More

We decided to have lunch in Viña del Mar, trying a new restaurant for us. We saw "El Austriaco" and we felt the calling so fortunately we got in.
