We like to go here at least once during the course of a weekend because it is super relaxing and great for kids. There is no pressure and you can spend a nice easy morning or afternoon. The food is a good combination of healthy with a decent variety. It's great if you are somebody that gets stressed about your... More

Very nice coffee shop! I would say it's the best in Dubai! The carrot cake is famous around the city and the staff always super friendly!

Great food, lovely garden and balcony upstairs and reasonably priced. I prefer the beach road site to the other alternatives. Triple berry crush is fantastic and the scones are delicious. Great that you can see your food before ordering it! Best place for a lazy brekkie before a day on the beach.

The first impression you get when you get to this cafe is that is really cute, huge and has a lot of space, the service is good and friendly. As I remember they specialize in sandwiches and salads, I had this dish called the local one, wasn't as good as I expected, I enjoyed it at the beginning but you... More

My wife and I eat here most weekends. It gets very busy around lunch time. But the food is very good and the cakes and cheese cakes are excellent. My particular favourites are the quiches. Yes, there are a lot of competitors now in Dubai offering a similar experience, but I still think the Lime Tree Cafe has the edge... More

Lime tree has lost its initial brilliance...but for a place to chill and have a brunch it's still great on a Friday For my money it has now lost out to Jones the Grocer...

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
