Dubai is renowned for its fine dining, spectacular restaurant locations, hefty price tags and overall gastronomic opulence. If this is what your after then don't come to the Ravi restaurant in the Al Satwa area of Dubai. This place seems to have built its reputation on serving good honest Indian / Pakistani food at a great price and I can... More

It was my last night in Dubai. On this trip I've eaten at the most expensive hotel in the world, and the tallest building in the world... and I am thoroughly unimpressed and financially I am much lighter. So off to Ravi's I go for take away. This place is hopping! They took over a half of a city block,... More

It's not our first Pakistani/Indian experience in Satwa, but it could be our last. The food was relatively good, but its clear our stomachs couldn't take it. My partner and I spent the entire night post dinner spewing what we could. Never again

This is where the locals (by that I mean Indian and Pakistani's) go to eat. Not exactly a 5 star setting (plastic covered tables) but the food is delicious and the price is right. The chicken corn soup was good enough that I had to get 2 bowls. Everything was great and for the 3 of us the bill was... More

Ravi in the Satwa area of Dubai is the only credible "Ravi" in the city. Do not be confused by other restaurants which have taken the name. It is outstanding and there are plenty of boneless options as well as things which are low in spice. I'd recommend the butter chicken - it is the best I've had anywhere in... More

This place is where you go to get down and dirty and have amazing food for next to nothing. My favourite is the chicken handi (if you like spicy) or butter chicken if you don't. Cheese naan is actually to DIE for. Service is quick, don't go if you're a scardey cat, if traffic noise bothers you or a bit... More

There are several Ravis all.over Dubai. We are at the one near karama opposite spinney's. The location is pretty convenient, five minutes walk from the burjuman metro station. The mutton and chicken dishes are high in demand and they.ran out of the same by 1am. Sounds late but Dubai being a great place for night life, you would venture out... More

It’s not clean but the food is amazing. We were given plates and tableware that had leftover food on them, which was unsettling. We tried the Palak Paneer, the Vegetable Biryani and the Vegetable Fried Rice. The food was so good that we forgot about the poor sanitation of the place. There are a few cleaner places in Dubai where... More

Cafe in Al Satwa serving tasty and keenly priced Pakistani food. Quick service, be careful not to overorder. Somehow the food seems fresher at around 7-9pm. AED 60 inc top for 2, 4 dishes.

This was the best Pakistani food I have ever eaten and I wish I had discovered this place years ago! We had the butter chicken, chicken jalfrezi, mutton biriyani, mixed grill, daal and lamb chops. Everything was excellent; the delicious authentic food, amazing value for money and the friendly service. If you want to get away from the touristy and... More
