The breakfast is simply sensational. I had the tostada; eggs on a herby bed of mixed beans, and how something that sounds so common place becomes a breakfast of wonder is beyond me but it's that good. All served by attentive happy staff.
But it's the extra effort they've gone to that makes this place stand out. The decor is all early 20th century New England - wood panelling and staircases, and there's a simply gorgeous sea-facing terrace on the second floor.
If there is anywhere better for a winter breakfast in Dubai i don't know it.
As other reviewers have pointed out it's not cheap but my goodness it's worth it

I visited the place for lunch with two of my friends.
As long as you enter the place, immediately you get a warm welcoming recognition by the staff, the café scent and the beautiful decoration.
You have seats in 5 different areas spread on 3 floors. The ground floor has the main space and outside (kind of private area - probably uncovered in winter), a small space on the 1st floor that can suitable for a group of friends over 3 tables, and a beautiful café/bar style on the 2nd floor with an outside terrace to enjoy the Kite beach view and sip a cigarette.
The food is yummi especially the breakfast and the main dishes, adding to this the delicious mouth-watering juices and smoothies.
Wherever you move around the space, the staff are very polite and professional with lot of empathy willing to assist. We were assisted by Hashini, she is extremely helpful, knowledgeable of the menu and knows what best to recommend. She made us feel very hospitable at all time.

I have been here a couple of times and I like the ambience. Their service is courteous but this time found it to be slow ! I had been here for lunch. Love the range, their presentation and their dishes. Though overpriced their lamb shanks, grilled prawns 🍤 are delicious. Their quantity and quality is excellent.

Sorry to share here but I found no contact on the website. I was very unimpressed with the quality here. Scrambled eggs were dry and bright orange served on a slab of uncooked soft brioche bread entirely unsuitable for any serious topping . I asked for extra tomato on the side and received dry, flavourless slices of forced fruit. Considering the quality now available in dubai including locally farmed delicious red tomatoes and the fact that scrambled egg is as easy to get right as it is to ruin, I would expect a lot more. It’s not 2010mwhen you had to take what you could get here. Instagram pics can’t compensate for below average food that appears to be b3 made without love. Ace coffee though.

I was seated downstairs and the sounds from the coffee machines and whatever else they use in that area is very loud.
But the food is the big problem.
I had prawn risotto, I think they cut one prawn in 8 tiny pieces and place it on top of the risotto.
I also had sea bass. Such a bad dish, I think is the worst dish I ever had in a restaurant. The fish was sooo dry, and the mash potatoes had no taste. Please remove this dish from the menu.
Both dishes came out barely warm.
The waiters are nice but they forget to give you fork/spoons when you are about to eat.
I will never ever go back.

Visited this place yesterday afternoon during evening hours , ambience wise the place was really good , after waiting for 10 mins someone managed to come to us and we ordered for their americano which was served with macaroon and a berry booster drink . The coffee was decent but the macaroon was really good . The berry booster was decent as well but what really shocked us was they were a lot of ants on the floor and since we were sitting at the corner of the table ants were coming to our side we had to put the bag up and it was even going to the table right next to us . I really don’t expect this sort of things to happen at such a reputed place we were really disappointed, we even informed to the server about it & he just replied back saying “ I will inform the manager “ , is this the way you respond to me as if nothing has happened . We r not at all happy with our experience at Hampton’s Cafe .

Didn't know about this place until friends invited us for brunch. Its on 3 stories and the skylight on the top floor is an ideal place to have a Friday brunch.
Service is a bit haphazard when its busy but staff are accomodating and friendly. My friends wife has to send her breakfast back as it was not cooked - brunch quality is lower than compared to other brunches in dubai. The atmosphere is great and if you are a bunch of friends and family you might just have a good time and not notice the lack of xtra quality of the food.
I think I would go again for an evening meal to try the halal wine but not for brunch.

I liked the atmosphere, service is good, the food selection is good to, but the price is way too exaggerated. Comparing taste of the food which is above average and the service with the price is not fare at all. The management need to review the price list and adjust it

The food is good, a variety of choices but the service was very slow, we waited around 45 min for our breakfast and coffee. It was my first time so I don't know if the service is usually the same.
One thing I didn't like was the water glasses. They smelled horrible, a bad egg smell, I couldn't drink from them.

I have a long list of breakfast venues in Dubai. But only 3 favourites - choice based on food quality, price & service. Last week I had overseas visitors and decided to visit The Hamptons. I have fond memories of this wonderful restaurant when it first opened many years ago. With its very affable and special Local owner.
Everything I remember about the restaurant was even better on this visit. Everything. To a point that I would suggest this is the BEST (even better than my 3 favourites !!) breakfast venue and menu in Dubai. It is on the pricier side BUT absolutely worth it. And there is something for every diner on the menu
The only reason I am not giving this beautiful restaurant a 5-star rating is that I, unfortunately, booked dinner for 4 (based on the great breakfast experience) and the contrast could not have been worse. Rather than damage my very positive review of The Hamptons with anything negative, let me just say a) I will not be going back for dinner - but definitely for breakfast and b) the dinner chef and the breakfast chef/s must have had completely different 'food educations' !!
But please visit the Hamptons for breakfast. It is top of Dubai restaurants breakfast league.

Today me and my cousin visited here after a long day out and was in a hurry to get something to eat.We were served by Kasun and he was so attentive and friendly and was so quick to serve us.It was my first time here and he gave good suggestions on choosing food and beverages.

As a regular visitor to The Hamptons Cafe, I’ve always found the food to be creative and of great quality. However, for years, I had seen the service delivery standards slowly but surely worsen, to the degree that I stopped visiting as regularly.
That has now all changed! Today I met the new branch manager Mr. Tushar and what a difference that guy has had on the place. Service is now attentive, prompt and sincere. What a difference !!!
Mr. Tushar, thank you for bringing the service delivery up to the expected standards of The Hamptons Cafe and their lovely food. We’ll definitely be visiting more regularly again.

A very beautiful restaurant. It is true that their prices are high compared to others, but their dishes are diverse and their food is delicious.. Coffee..
Today I visited the restaurant for the third or fourth time. The service was excellent, even though the restaurant was full of customers and the tables were approximately 90% occupied.
Hampton Cafe is one of the best restaurants I visit..

Absolutely loved this place! I was looking for a nice breakfast spot to take my mum, who visited me in Dubai a few months ago and found this gorgeous gem in Jumeirah. The restaurant has three levels – we chose the top floor as it’s super bright and has a nice terrace. It’s such a nice place for a ladies’ catch up and the menu is really extensive with lots of sweet and savoury options. The croissants are gigantic and the little macaron served with our coffee was just the cherry on the cake for a lovely morning spent with mum.

I planned a baby shower at Hamptons Cafe Jumeirah Island.
From the moment I contacted them in the very beginning until the last moment we left, everything was outstanding & all the team without any exception was lovely.
Suneth was dealing with me for 1 month, answering all my requests through messages or calls. He managed to execute every detail I had in mind planned, same as the photos i showed him, and we ended up having a lovely set up.
The high tea experience was so tasty, nothing to say about that can be done better. Literally we were all full, but still wanted to have more & more from all the options.
Chef Mohammad El Fiky prepared a creative fruit platter that I have requested, and we were all amazed when we saw it.
Mahinder was assisting us for full 3h, ready to get us anything we ask for with a big smile.
All in all the experience was way above our expectations, and I highly recommend this place without any doubt.
Some delicious recommendations: Pistachio macaron, chocolate eclaire, chicken avocado sandwich, shrimp croissant.
