I went here with a good friend and ate the full course meal. We were happy and all the food serve were satisfying and well presented. Price is a bit pricey but it is justifiable, the ambiance and interior decors were great. The waiters are...polite and I love the place. It is a good place to drink with your friends during the weekend as well. My only concern was that, the house music is a bit loud. Even though we requested to have it down but nobody is paying attention. It's too loud me and my friend we can't hear each other. Over all it was a best night.More

This was my worst experience in a restaurant. We went to this restaurant for a very special celebration as we had heard it was very nice. As we made the reservation we were asked if we wanted smoking or nonsmoking, we chose nonsmoking and so...were told to be at the restaurant at 8pm. We arrived at 8.02 and were accommodated properly. After a brief time to decide what we were having, we chose “the taste of Qbara” (photo of the menu attached). From that point onwards things moved very, very slow. The starters came relatively ok and we started with them. Then the second wave of dishes came very late. We waited and waited for the mains. Asked the waitress to bring the mains a few times, but were unsuccessful. How many times do you have to ask?? While we were waiting, we saw the tables that were around us finishing their desserts, asking for the bill and leaving. By 10pm most other tables that had come at the same time or later than us were already finished and had mostly left, and new customers started arriving to fill the tables. We kept asking for our mains to other waitresses as well during this time. At 10.05 we realized that in the table next to us all the guests were smoking, we asked a waitress nearby why was there people smoking if that was a non-smoking dinner, and that where were our main dishes that we had been waiting for over an hour. A couple of minutes later we were told that the non-smoking dinner time had finished at 10, and that from 10 onwards the restaurant accepted smoking reservations. We complained that no one had told us about this and moreover where were our main dishes that should had been served over an hour ago. The amount of smoking people and smoke in the air kept raising. Eventually, we decided to leave as the dishes were arriving at 10.25pm or so, and said look, this has been a terrible choice but we want to try the dishes, so can we have this food for takeaway? They said ok, but you will have to sign a little document for us. We were surprised, and said, ok, but bring it so we can read what we sign. The document (attached to this review) basically says that we are responsible for any and all events or problems that could arise from us having the food that they had prepared, specifically stating in point 2 we were agreeing to follow the instructions given by them in terms of date and time. We were very annoyed by this document because it hadn’t been our fault that we had been in a top-notch restaurant for over 2hours and a half and still not managed to have our main dishes. And then the final surprise, the food comes and there is no instructions whatsoever over time/date/schedule as mentioned in the document (one sided contact I would say). So we politely asked for the instructions to be specified before we would sign any such document. By 10.45pm the food comes back with a sticker saying it had been prepared at 9pm and was to be consumed before 11pm. That really got us angry, so we come to a supposedly nice restaurant and the food had been ready for 1h30min and no one bothered to bring it to the table?? Not only that but you are making us sign a document were we basically agree that we are taking food from your restaurant that is already out of date by the time we walk out of the door?? What kind of rubbish place is this?? Let’s say we don’t have this food as it is obviously out of date already, and then we have a problem with something we had actually had during our stay at the restaurant, guess what would have happened? This outrageous contract would have come up and they wouldn’t have taken any responsibility. That was it, we said we want to leave, take your food, your stickers and your contract. We then asked for the bill and it comes in full, no discounts despite you were late in your service and we didn’t even have any of the mains which were charged? Full price even though we were promised nonsmoking environment and people were smoking? Full price despite the fact that you ruined our experience? I went to talk to the manager and told him that they were scam that they didn’t know how to treat customers, that they were treating us as if the problem with our dinner had been our mistake when it clearly was a problem of the restaurant, does the customer need to insist for their food every mininute? If so, how many times does the customer need to ask for the food?? I asked if there wasn’t any hierarchically higher manager to talk to. The answer was no, but that we could write an email with our issues. That felt like the ultimate insult, so I have explained it to you already 3 times, but you still want it in writing? Do you seriously want me to write what doesn’t work in your restaurant when I have already clearly told you? I’ve never been more insulted or felt as badly treated in a restaurant in my life. My take, DO NOT GO TO QBARA, AVOID IT, DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, they don’t know how to treat a customer and they will laugh at you in your face. My worst culinary experience ever. I hope this warns other people about what you will find at this supposedly good restaurant.More

Really great atmosphere for both drinks (lounge) or food (restaurant). Good for large groups. Food was good but not wow! I would still go again though! Recommended for drinks.

From the first step till your last bite, it's an outstanding experience for all of your senses. Oysters were out of this world! Along with the home made fries in duck fat, it was an amazing dinner! The scenery is unique and leaves you a...feeling of a VIP Hollywood place where you are the rock star of the night. Beautiful inside design, posh bathrooms, friendly staff will just add extra points if you choose Qbara! A definite recommendation.More

We came for dinner with a group of friends and everything was excellent. Since the moment you enter you're immediately welcomed inside. The place is divided on two levels and has a circular shape with a very rich decor. The bar area looks very posh...as well with a great display and a wall where a moving light is displayed. Food was great, tasty and perfectly balanced flavors. Very well executed!More
