Amazing New Year!

This is a long overdue review, I've been a loyal customer for years and The Meat co is my "go to" when I want to eat a perfect steak. but is also the place I take my Family or friends when they are in town. I was there for New Year with my Brother and his fiance, and it was a special night with the help of their beautiful and friendly hostess. Sam, Jak and Yvonne, they help me prepare a surprise and my brother gave his fiance the Ring that night!. I highly Recomend The Meat co. the food, atmosphere and service is amazing, the staff really make you feel at home and they are very knowledgeful of their menu. I can't mention all of the staff but special mention to Kateryna, she was the first to suggest me the Wagyu carpaccio as a starter and now it's a must every time I go. So anyone reading this, don't believe me. Go and find up for yourself I know you will not be disappointed!

Great service and food

One of the best burgers I've tried - I don't think you'll have ever tried softer buns than the ones they've got here. The patty itself is tender and perfectly-cooked as requested. Wasn't a huge fan of the mocktail passion fashion mocktail but that's on me I suppose cuz I don't exactly love passion fruit. I must say something about the waiters and waitresses - I felt notably comfortable. They didn't just stand and stare at you while you ate but they didn't ignore you either. They give you space to have your meal but as soon as you need anything you'll realise they've been paying attention to you all along. Either that, or the person who saved me, Kateryna, was just that good. She handled my visit perfectly. I especially loved the fact she gave me her own recommendations and opinions regarding items to try as it's my first visit.

Best Team and Service in Town

Dear Dubai Residents and Visitors, This is my great pleasure to sincerely recommend the best place in town for the Ladies Night or Birthday celebration, because you will definitely fall in love with the people serving you and the way they are doing it. There’s a certain surprise waiting for anyone celebrating his or her birthday, and it’s definitely not to be missed, being very unique and only available at this particular restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is extremely friendly and appealing, and the Team is one of the best I’ve ever witnessed in the hospitality. It’s my utmost pleasure to express my sincere gratitude to Restaurant Manager Chris and his Team mates Kateryna and Joffrey. Great craft burgers

Lunchtime during pandemic in such a great steakhouse was certainly not busy. However, we enjoy our business conversation with no noise around. Both the wagyu burger and the ribs meat burger with portobello mushroom were delicious and certainly more affordable than the great varieties of steaks this place have to offer. Draft beer is always available and a wide variety of wines. We passed on that. What was the highlight of our experience was the effervescent waitress, Kateryna. She was very attentive, offering her recommendations, yet not disturbing our conversation.

You could say I am somewhat a regular at this restaurant through the years and I always considered it a good value for money. In the past, the bread offered was much better and you got a choice of really tasty special bread with a nice portion of excellent quality butter. Nowadays, you get this brioche type chocolate and beetroot bread which is sickly sweet together with a nob of butter! No comparison Please bring back the old senario!

Consistent Dubai Steakhouse Option

Dropped by for a quick dinner whilst nearby. Despite being busy staff found us a table in the restaurant. Server Marlon was attentive and switched on, advising on cuts and suggesting the cooking temperature for what we chose. Wine selection by the glass is fairly poor and low quality for the price. Chose something just about palatable. Food was cooked reasonably well and consistent with previous experiences at MeatCo. It’s a place I’ll happily revisit with a discount offer but at full price is probably pushing its luck. Decent dinner all the same. Cheers Marlon.

Great service, fantastic starters!

Had dinner at the Meat and Co last night with friends. The venue is beautiful with both inside seating as well as outside seating where you can watch the fountain show. We were served by Katarina who was professional, pleasant and very service minded. She would probably bee on my top 3 list of best waiters in Dubai! The wine list had lots of choices but unfortunately after having chosen 3 different wines and each time being told they were sold out of the choices I made, I did get a little annoyed. Katarina though helped with a 4th choice which worked out well. We started with the burata, grilled octopus and tuna tartar which were all very good. Our mains where ok but nothing special (maybe we were unlucky which of course can happen). I and my wife had the 150 days dried prime ribeye and my friends had the fillet, which did look and taste better than our selection. I told Katarina it was my friends birthday and she brought him a cake and the whole staff to sing an African version birthday song filled with joy and rhythms. Overall a great experience. If the meat would have tasted better I would definitely have ratedthis restaurant with its service 5 stars.

Perfect location for New Years Fireworks

My main focus of this trip to Dubai was to watch the firework display at the Burj Khalifia. However, I did not want to stand for hours in a crowd of people. The Meat Co. offered a pre set menu and an amazing breathtaking view of the fireworks. It was a little pricey but well worth every dollar. I would do this all over again. If you want a place to watch the fireworks, enjoy an amazing dinner and GREAT customer service then please check them out!

Date night!

We struggled to find a restaurant with good food, as well as a good atmosphere post covid. AMAZING FOOD, even better service (we were served by Pawan). They had a few customers celebrating their birthdays and they made such an effort for them, really felt special. They had a in house DJ playing very tasteful music which just added to the already great atmosphere Very good value for money... will definitely be coming back!

THE place to dine

Let me set the scene; Friday, 8PM, perfect weather with a slight wind, concert at the fountain, people everywhere and we are tired and carrying lots of bags after shopping. After walking around the mall during the day, we were looking for a place to dine. Our first choice was way too crowded so we decided to keep looking for some place to have dinner. The Meat Co was also pretty busy but the waiters worked their magic and we were able to sit outdoors sans reservation and have a wonderful view of the fountain and Burj Khalifa with boats passing us by. Ambiance: 9/10, even for a Friday, slightly loud from the concert nearby Food: 9/10, steak and seafood. Large portions, great variety and worth the $$$. Service: 10/10 kudos to Shelly for making our night memorable by providing exceptional service, even though the restaurant was busy the waiters always came by to check on us. Highly recommend as it created a lasting memory with such an astounding view of the Burj and the Fountain. Would visit again!

Great Restaurant - Fantastic waitress

We went to dine at the Meat Co a week ago. Great food and very cosy setting - away from the main traffic and not playing the usual loud music (=noise) that often spoil experiences at so many restaurants. We were served by a very efficient lady, Katarina, and enjoyed her kindness, humor, and charm. Pricing was fair compared to location.

Birthday celebration

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday and it was amazing. We ordered the wagyu with a marble score or 10+ and it was INSANE. I’ve never tasted anything like it in my life. The sauces and sides were also unreal. As it was my birthday, Sibu our amazing waiter organised a birthday African song and a lovely dessert. Overall a brilliant experience and we will definitely be coming back! 10/10

Overpriced and Poor Service

Went for dinner expecting a great steakhouse experience but instead found it to be way overpriced for mediocre food at best. As a traveller I would suggest going elsewhere. The service was slow and the place was not busy at the time. Our waiter was not very knowledgeable about the menu but that aside the food was very average and certainly not worth the prices asked.

Lovely evening at The Meat Co

Had a lovely evening at the meat co with my wife. The staff are great the food is fantastic. I had Octopus to start the wife had chilly prawns, for mains we both had The Silver Leaf Fillet and added a couple of King Prawns. All washed down with a bottle of South African Cabernet. My wife’s steak was very rare instead of medium but when we told our waiter the manager sorted it straight away removing it from the bill and providing us with a beautiful sweet on the house. Very professional. We will definitely be going back as they know how to treat people and the view wasn’t bad either.

Just an average steakhouse

We used to live for many years on Old Town Island and we used to eat frequently at the Meat Co. When my husband’s 40th birthday was coming up there was no place that we wanted to go but back to the Meat Co at Souk Al Bahar. Unfortunately, it’s changed. It used to be a lovely, cozy restaurant and now it’s a colder average feeling restaurant. The food and service were also just average and not deserving of a 40th birthday meal nor the price. Thankfully we have memories of the old Meat Co but we won’t be back.
