A dinner with friends

Our friends were supposed to try Indian food for the first time and we were sure that Gharana would be the perfect venue. We loved the food, service and the live music there. Chef Anmol and his team catered our guests needs with some mouth melting sharing platters and less spicy food.

This is an excellent Indian restaurant

This is an excellent Indian restaurant, lovely food and exceptional service. I have a nut allergy and have to be very careful when I am eating out. The waiters in Gharana went out of their way to reassure me that my food would be nut free and when my preference was listed as containing nuts on the menu, the chefs were able to be make it nut free for me. Everything was delicious and I can’t rate the restaurant highly enough.

An Evening to Remember

Me and my wife were here on Thursday, just happened to walked in and lucky enough to get a table right infront of Ghazal Singer Raza Khan who created the whole atmosphere with his soulful voice. The selection of food was the best and can give you hard time in choosing the one. Our host dinesh did everything he could. The the amazing taste gave enough reasons to enjoy the experience. Great quality but disappointing

I'm really disappointed I came from a far place just to try this restaurant . The quality was really good The food was really nice . What was the worst thing is the waiter. I order 1 cheese Garlic Nan, I mentioned 3 times that I want it extremely extra cheese, he said yes we can do that. Once the order came I saw it almost no cheese inside it. Then I told him why there is no extra cheese? He ran away and disappeared. Then u called the other waiter I told him what happened, he said we can't do extra cheese but we can do more than what you have received. So the point here is not good to lie on the customer. If you can't say I can't. Also when the moment came don't run away and disappear.

Excellent Indian Cuisine

Visited Gharana with family, must say this is one of the finest authentic north indian restaurant in Dubai. They do have speciality cuisine from Jaipur, Punjab, Lucknow and Hyderabadi. I would call this as a special Nawabi cuisine. We had ordered Lal Maas ( a lamb speciality dish from Rajasthan, India) , Awadh Murgh Tikka (Chicken Tikka) along with Butter Naan and Kashmiri Naan. The food was awesome and we'll prepared with authentic north indian taste. The Murgh Tikka was well marinated and was very soft and juicy. Special Mention to Mr.Prashant who explained in detail about the signature dishes in detail. Must appreciate the Covid protocols being maintained in the restauran, which provides additional confidence to the guests.

Classic Indian that never disappoints

On arrival, we were greeted by the restaurant’s staff , who took us to our table and left us in the very capable hands of Krishna who guided us through the menu We shared a various starters which included Tiger prawn/ chaat all of which were delicately flavoured with traditional Indian spices. Fantastic Indian Cuisine with Great Musical Experience

I had a wonderful experience in this awesome restaurant. I opted for a vegetarian menu. I was astonished to see that they had such a huge variety for vegetarian food also. The food was really excellent. The live music performance of the musicians was mind blogging. The ambiance was very good. The service was great. In total, it was a fantastic experience.

Lovely staff and delicious food

Gharana never disappoints! The food is delicious, my husband always enjoys the Lal Maas and I order different dishes, including kadai paneer and murgh makhani. The portions are quite large and so rich and filling. Staff here are so kind and accommodating, and they even remember us from one visit to the next. Krishna and all the waiting staff are so lovely and helpful. The live music is also back, and it's great to see bars and restaurants getting back to normal after a long two years of restrictions!

Nice Indian food with a great Ambience

It was our wedding anniversary so I and my wife went to this restaurant for dinner. We have been there quite a few times earlier too since we like the food and the ambience. The live music performances with melodies Bollywood songs make the whole experience very unique. The singers also entertain by singing songs on demand also. We started with a soup that was quite nice. The complimentary papad with its accompaniments made for good munching till the main course arrived. We had ordered Salted Lassi which was pretty good too. Our main course was a paneer curry and lachha parata. Both these were delicious and the quantity of vegetable was good enough for the two of us. We gave our request for a couple of songs and enjoyed the rendition while relishing the food. Overall, it was a nice experience and a good way to celebrate a special day. We were served by Naveen who was very courteous and pleasing. He arranged for a small cake also to celebrate our anniversary.

It has been some time we celebrated a few milestones so with family we head straight to our all time favourite Indian restaurant, had to dress right for this one and had so much fun while doing so 🌸 One of the oldest Indian restaurants in dubai called @gharana located at the @holidayinn in Barsha stands true to it’s words and always makes us feel at home. A true celebration to our Indian heritage with their menu is divided into the cities from our country #india where you can chose any starter, mains or dessert true to that cities cultures, flavors and nuances. The recipes you enjoy here are the ones passed on from generations … They are also one of the few places in #mydubai where you can enjoy some melodious Indian classical music or ghazals & they accept and sign all your favorite tunes upon request 😍

Awesome dinner with live music..!!

Amazing food with lovely ambience and live in music. Ashish who catered to us was such a delight, not only did he suggested food according to our choice but also made our dinner night memorable with his smile and lovely hospitality. Would definitely recommend everyone to come to this place once in their trip to Dubai. Food taste is very exquisite and very well crafted menu. Loved the overall experience.

A nice meal with live music

Enjoyed the food! We ordered Galouti Kabab and Arnima Sikampuri for starters, the kabab was delicious, would totally recommend. For mains we ordered Nalli Nihari, coming from the city of Nihari Lucknow I would say I’ve had better Nihari. However it was decent if not the best. Our host Naveen was very friendly and did an excellent job in recommending the specialities. Overall a good evening the live music definitely compliments the food.
