Great Service. The outdoor seating area is great. They have a kids menu. The main course is served in big portions. I really enjoyed the clean food.

Popped in for a meal as we fancied something spicy, restaurant not very busy but lots of staff milling around but not really friendly. Main course Fajitas arrived before appitizer finished & same dumped on table. Staff then started rearranging tables & sweeping up around us as we ate, not the best of experiences on this visit.

Ate this week on JBR. The food was average, ordered a combo but wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be. We spent a long time waiting for our plates to be cleared and then again to order dessert, ended up asking for the menu again from the group of staff stood around chatting. The dessert was lovely - Mexican... More

Although the service is excellent and the staff are friendly, but the food tastes really bad (and served cold!) I have ordered brisket beef taco (nothing special, and one can do it easily at home!) and my company order beef fajita, both dishes tasted below average.

Tasty food… Portions are really big… Fajitas were very good but the shrimps on top were chewy and really can be taken out of the dish… The ribs and the tenderloin were perfect but really not Mexican… Kids loved the nachos and dib… Staff can be lost when the restaurant is busy… Outdoor round tables are not good choice for... I was craving for Mexican food during my visit to Dubai last month. The place was recommended by a local. The place was not very busy but may be it was late afternoon . Big portion of food, fast service and good staff.

We visited El Chico yesterday with the family. Food was good, generous portions. The kids Chicken Fajita was a good size, enough for myself and my daughter. The tacos at the beginning were so tasty. Price of food wasn't too bad. Our waitress wasn't great, she didn't smile or ask how anything was, and wasn't particularly attentive even the the... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
