Parked in the basement, took the elevator up and as soon as I hit the surface I was immediately transported to a vacation.
Met by the cool breeze sea view and Latin beats I totally forgot I was in dubai.
As soon as I hit the entrance the team had a warm welcome as if to almost have known you from a previous life.
I was escorted to one of numerous tables with a view of Bluewaters island Marina the rest of the palm and the gulf, a view money can’t buy.
The music level just right good for conversation and appropriate by the hour as the sun dipped.
The service was informative and make great suggestions for food and drink, just the perfect portions and seasoning.
I will be back and surely when we can all dance again it will be an even more magical venue. Great job to Manuel his chef and team.

Was here on a Monday afternoon and must say Lynn the African lady made our afternoon one worth to remember. Her recommendation of the taquitos and cauliflower was the best one could ever opt offer,refreshing cocktails.Shall for sure come back specifically for the warm service and the tasty affordable food.

This restaurant has a great location, beautiful decoration, great views and very nice outdoor seating area. However all its good aspects disappear once your food is served. Because the portions are too small for the price. It seems they are actually serving samples of the food and not the full potion. Jones The Grocer right next to them, with the same location and views and outdoor seating, serves almost double the potions at same prices as Senor Pico. I strongly recommend management to pay attention to this important detail.

We called to make reservation for two for dinner @ 7.30 pm and were told they were fully booked. My wife told them to let her know if any cancellations come through. Within15 mins they called back and said they have cancellations but they can give reservation between 7 pm and 9 pm. We agreed. When we came at 7 pm the restaurant was 90% empty! And when we came at 7 pm we did not tell them we have reservation. They happily gave us table. Why do the restaurant have to act snobbish? They are willing to lose business just by faking they are busy. This is true of most restaurants in Dubai!

One of the best Mexican restaurants my family and I have visited that we actually visited a couple of times during Summer. The staff -Taya, Minto, Netto, Juddie, Saurab were extremely accommodating.
They don't just cater to their customers but also to the pets (the best part of the restaurant is that it is dog friendly). As we had to sit outside with my pet they would keep serving him bowls of iced cold water and were extremely friendly towards him which really won my family and me over. They even brought out a cooler because we had to sit outside and it was a bit warm.
The food was amazing. We ordered the Beef Nachos, chicken quesadillas, and churros. During one of our visits, we tried their chicken and beef tacos but I personally would not recommend them as they only serve it on soft taco shells.
The food can be a bit expensive on a regular day but we made use of the happy hours on Wednesdays that really allowed us to try many drinks and dishes.
Coming to the drinks- there was an amazing selection of cocktails but as someone who does not consume alcohol, the mocktail selection was a bit restricted and would suggest their mocktail menu to add more options.
Overall, the ambiance is amazing. Good selection of music. Cozy seats and very peaceful given the location. Would only suggest to customers that if you do visit the restaurant, do go during the winters when you can actually enjoy the outdoor seating.

Visited this place with my friends. Location is great which offers a very nice view. Staff's are amazingly attentive and friendly.
Very less variety of drinks to choose from.
Very less selection of food. The quesadilla and shrimp ceviché that we ordered are a bit too salty. Was not able to taste that distinctive chorizo taste in chorizo quesadilla. Maybe i was overwhelmed by the saltiness of it. The chicken taco, was a bit dry. The torta was amazing though as well as the guacamole! The drinks are a bit too sour- that's something for someone like me who loves tangy drinks! When we ordered the coffee based drink as we told the staff that the drinks we all have is a bit too sour he suggested the coffee based drink, it came out too bland.
The music is nice which gives it a very cool vibe however, the volume is sometimes too high. It can be a little bit overwhelming specially for the guest sitting inside.
Overall, it is in a nice location, staffs are amazing- just needed a little more attention.

Senor Pico is a great spot at any time of the day, I love going at sunset for a jug of margarita and tacos with friends (Happy hr is Monday - Thursday 4pm-7pm.
Menu I have not had a bad dish, mushroom quesadillas, fish tacos.. all fantastic! Traffic to get to west beach on the weekends in the afternoon is a monster traffic jam, so be warned. Service is very good (always), staff are always doing a great job. The seating is comfortable, better outside in the nice weather and can get busy at peak times. Try not to get seated at the far end near the bar (inside) as it is lifeless and slowest area for service. I think the management could turn that area in to a seating area / bar .. rather than just a service area. (missing a trick).
Now for the only current improvement: I went mid week recently for dinner and the guests were all enjoying the views of the marina, blue waters (relaxed & chilled) yet the music was horrendous! It was a sort of fast paced commercial rap, not even good rap... one song after the other. Think of that rap section of "Despacito"& Danza Kuduro had a baby.. just on and on.. shockingly bad. I mentioned it to the staff eventually. If you are going to put Mexican rap on at least select Cypress Hill. More fitting is just use Spotify "Mexican Fiesta Party Music"... its not that hard. It really killed the vibe of a mid week dinner. A few venues in Dubai somehow fall into the trap of the most commercial playlist and forget the diners, time of day, volume and what the consumers are there for. If its a brunch, sure .. get the "good tunes playing" if its a mid week dinner, chilled authentic. Never commercial rap.

Tried the place yesterday and got shocked how someone as the restaurant manager called Monica can be so unprofessional! Absolutely unacceptable attitude, perhaps the lady has no clue what a customer care means. While having tables available, we were refused to get a table with the view just after 2 minutes it got available. She was so rude and sharp to cut us with "I will not give it to you, there is someone else is coming!" guess what, nobody came at all! The waitress offered us to move if we still wanted and apologies on behalf of the "manager".
Food wasn't great either, absolutely tasteless... That's why the place is quite empty compared to the other. Do not recommend at all.

Lovely food. Very quick service. Attentive
We got tacos and burrito bowls- smallish portions so you could order a few different things to share.
Really really enjoyed it! Got there just for sunset and staff were very accommodating with getting us a table on the deck.
Defo good for dinner with friends - good vibe and music!
It’s also dog friendly which we thoroughly enjoyed even though we don’t have a dog
Also seems to be family friendly too!

Me and my friend ate at Pico few times because the food was so yummy, the service so friendly and amazing. Thank you Jessa, Lynn, Fahad & Minto!
The view in the evenings was breathtaking and not to mention the sunset.
We loved coming back because the food was delicious and the staff made our dinners special with the friendly atmosphere.
Will definitely come back here.

During my first visit to Senor Pico, I was impressed by the location and views. However, my evening started with a very disappointing exchange. My guests and I arrived at 6pm for an early evening dinner and it so happened that Happy Hour was on. One of my guests was pregnant and one Muslim. We perused the menu and noticed there were no non-alcoholic drinks/mocktails on the sundowners 'promotions' for Happy hour. We asked waiting staff to create one of the drinks (Chi Chi or Bahia) by simply removing the alcohol for the non-drinking guests. They explained they could provide us with a mocktail instead, but at a cost of 5dhs more. Simply removing the alcohol from the 'sundowners promotion' was not going to be possible. My guests and I were very disappointed and quite frankly, shocked at the lack of understanding and accommodation in a) a Muslim country and b) for pregnant women. A very, very disappointing experience which staff did not deal with well.

We were celebrating a special occasion and even mentioned this when I booked the table. The staff were very unfriendly, the food was very simple and overpriced In my opinion. I work in hospitality and eat out often. Our waitress barely smiled and we felt very awkward. Was very disappointed with what we experienced and left very quick to go to another place. I will not recommend this restaurant. Yes the views are lovely but that was all. Such a pity cos I.was hoping to recomend and use this restaurant with my many guests.

I got a chance to visit the latest Mexican place to be at the Palm West Beach. Their food is as authentic as you can get whether it is the name of the dishes or the ingredients all the vibe. Their mock tales and cocktails not only have the most interesting names but also taste amazing. The first bite of the tacos took me back to the authentic Miami Mexican restaurants. My favs were the Beef and Duck Tacos. Their Guac and homemade chips were so authentic. Their mixed bowl was like a deconstructed burrito and so well balanced. The music and few of their stuff are also authentic like their food😍😜😎🎉 Thank You Monica and Julianne for the amazing service.
