If you love Turkish Cuisine, Kosebasi is a nice place at JBR where you can enjoy the traditional Turkish breakfast and other amazing dishes i usual go to pamper my self with the traditional Turkish breakfast and tea.

We called in for early supper, looking for something different, we weren't disappointed and ended going back twice more during our 10 night stay. The staff were extremely attentive, the food very tasty and really good value. On our first two visits the manager came over to see if everything was OK, a nice touch.

It was my Mum's last night in Dubai, and we still hadn't had any Arabic food, we wanted hummus and grilled meat, so this Turkish restaurant was the next best thing to Middle Eastern tradition. We ordered hummus and the bread was fantastic, we also ordered a salad which I loved the way it was chopped up with parsley, it... More

I liked the place. It is quite. The food was good but not waaw. The price was good for family of 5. Around 40 AED per head if you will be sharing.

The portions are big, the choice is pretty good. My favourite Turkish restaurant. I do not like the JBR branch because of the service and the crowd, and it's a shame Sharjah branch and Abu Dhabi branches were closed down. The prices were affordable, competitive and the taste is certainly good. Sahara Mall branch also had a great atmosphere.

Spent a week recovering from the effects of bad lentil soup that I had there. Airconditioning seems not to be working properly. Ordered a soup and other mezzas. Left after an hour and in the evening started experiencing severe abdominal pain. I will save you the remaining details.

I come from a turkish background and this was the worst Turkish restaurant I've ever been. This place isn’t authentic and the spices don’t reflect turkish food at all with very little flavour overall. The service wasn’t great and no one seemed to care about coming over to our table. When we were finished with our starters the waiter didn’t... More

I love Doner and Kosebasi was located nearby my hotel. The Doner was good, not what you would get in Istanbul, but I did not have that expectation. Quality was good and portions were generous. Prices are very reasonable.

I've been to Kosebasi with a friend, on a busy Friday for Lunch. I have to say despite the cafe was busy, the service was quick, prices are very reasonable, food qualify is very good, staff were friendly and helpful, and menu has many options. I would go there again.

Thank Vaguish

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
