Great Middle Eastern/Lebanese cuisine served. A nice place to chill out and enjoy the mouthwatering delicious food. The building is said to be a former mansion.

It was a lovely evening with friends at Bastakiah Nights. The food was excellent, the location a dream and the staff was very friendly!
I live in Dubai and been the tourist most of people reading this are. This place looks the perfect tourist trap BUT it is not. I found it bring some local content, nice too terrasse, food was ok and not expensive. Staff was friendly, so...why going to far and not experience a diner over thereMore
It was Friday when I visited this place. Most museums were closed so I decided to spend my afternoon walking around to find a place to chill and soul search... maybe? Haha I have my painting materials with me and when I passed by the...place and saw the lotus decoration, I knew something interesting is there and I wasn’t disappointed. They have an entrance fee of AED 10 that comes with a drink. It was very worth it. I spent almost and hour there walking around appreciating the place and painted 😂. The lemonade I was drinking was the subject of my painting. The staff was very friendly and complimented my work before I go. I got lucky that I was the only one there, I think it’s a night venue based on the name 🧐 It has a very traditional vibe, nice displays (if you want you can go upstairs to look , you can so I did haha) I love the view from upstairs but I’m not sure if you can eat there or drink. Didn’t really order anything to eat there but maybe I would try next time. I always go Fahidi anyway. For historians, antique lover, art lover, this place is nice to pass by 😊More
Have been here several times previously and the food and service is consistently good. It's a very atmospheric place with pleasant staff and good well-presented food. The only negative aspect is the toilets - not as clean as they should be.
It is a lovely Arabic setting with lots of old artifacts and interesting traditional architecture . There is a lovely Palm Tree in the centre . At night it makes a great setting for photographs. The Staff were friendly and attentive . The only downside...is it is a bit expensive , we had just a coffee , a juice and a portion of cream caramel and that was 64 dirhams before tip.More
came here after boxing day, it is set back near bur dubai. very polite waiters. not busy when we arrived but did start to later. prices reasonable, not an extensive menu but just good to eat Arabic food. you can to to the top and...look around.More
We have eaten here twice when in Dubai on cruises. We have brought groups of about 10-12 from the ship for a night out and all have loved it. The food is typical Middle Eastern, with welcoming drink of lemon tea (yummy, but no liquor)...and fresh figs. The menu comes in a metal tube on a scroll. Lots of Kebab dishes, rice, etc. There is a courtyard as you enter open to the stars and on a clear night it can be magical. Dessert is usually fruit or flan. Our first time here we had dessert on the roof overlooking the city - like magic!! Even if they don't let you eat upstairs, try to go up for the view from upstairs to see the surrounding area at night.More
Warmly welcomed we entered this place and we had a fantastic experience! Delicious mezzah, great kebab and digestive tea mixed with kindness of personell and a magic atmosphere! Need to come back again as soon as possible!!!
Close to the creek this local restaurant is full of character as you can sit in a beautiful courtyard open to the stars with the locals being called to prayer at the mosque close by. Authentic food was fantastic and delightful fruit juice to accompany....Quiet unassuming and attentive service this was a delight. thank you.More
