Discovered this place as part of the night market, as they set up tables outside the cafe every night and sell their beautiful-looking pastries. Each night we finished our tour of the market with a stop here for some sweet treats which we brought back...to our hotel to enjoy. The giant cinnamon buns are absolutely delectable, and enough for 2 people, but you might not want to share! The ginger cakes and mango cakes are also really yummy, and great with a cup of tea. The service was friendly, and we would definitely return, and maybe even give the cafe a try!More

The only place in Luang Prabang which could be regarded as a rooftop bar and cafe. You enjoy a graet view at the main road and the night market, the laotien drip coffee with or without ice is perfect and the happy hour with draft...beer worth more than one visit.More

We stopped in for a beer and cocktail during the night market. Their prices are cheap and their staff is very welcoming. They have a little shop for jewelry and clothes at the back by the bathrooms. They also set up a food stall out...front in the market everything looked and smelled amazing.More

Just walking around, we tried Indigo Cafe. Orange juice + croissant. Very good. Nothing much to say. We Recommend it.

A fusion kitchen that maintains the balance between Laotian and European, for example their own salads and the tasteful Lao pork sausage. Unfortunately, they lose their soul a little by fuming for the ketchup and hamburger and french fries-addicted Americans. A lovely rooftop restaurant where...both the bar and the restaurant reach. Wonderful Margarita cocktail.More

With a commanding view of the night market this is a nice spot for a beer or coffee. Worth the climb of stairs. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful

So glad we found this place - right opposite the night market food stalls. The cakes and pastries are amazing and very cheap. We actually used to buy cakes there are take them to eat at the coffee stall in the Night market square, as...the coffee is even better there! The breakfast at Indigo looked fantastic btu we didn't try it ourselvesMore

I was here for the hotel breakfast, as part of stay in adjoining accommodation. Based on the choices for cooked food available on the breakfast menu, I would recommend getting a meal here for sure. Coffee was good. (Did not have other meals here because...daily breakfasts was eaten here already.)More

We have eaten at the Indigo Café several times and we’ve never been disappointed. The coffee and the butterfly pea tea were excellent as were the khao soi, bruschetta and the khan nom mor thod Lao desert. Bathrooms are clean, location is good and there...is plenty of seating downstairs and way up on the 4th floor (with a nice view). The staff was genial and not long of a wait from the kitchen.More

You want to have great Lao food, western food and fine coffee to start you r day while having friendly Lao service with Lao prices? I had this by going very morning to Indigo cafe. The selection of baked goods is high quality. the coffee...was great with espresso, latte and americano among the many varieties offered. The Lao food is tasty and made quickly and of high quality. There is a mix of Lao and western food choice. Finally the service is friendly, fast and comforting. I was helped by Ms. Vilai every morning. She was friendly, provided food recommendations and was great at explaining the Lao food on the menu. I was so thankful and came back especially because of this friendly and helpful service by Ms. Vilai. Highly recommend the Indigo Cafe everyday to start your day.More

This cafe is at the start of the night market. The ambience is cool but not too great. The food and drinks are nice and have lots of variety.
