This place was excellent. The food was delicious, the staff were attentive, and the ambiance was wonderful. Beautiful restaurant with a Swiss trained chef. You can everything from European food, to Laos dishes, the fondue. This was a fun place for us to splurge a bit on our trip (we got a 5 star experience for far less than we... More

Entrance to restaurant is through an easily missed alley (led by their Reception staff from main street). Beautiful garden for outside seating as well as air conditioned interior, both decorated with the right ambience and setting. Food was good, with great presentation and of sumptuous portion; very filling. Beef roll with mushroom and fig was a specialty. Price was on... More

I have only stayed for 1 day in Luang Prabang, but this restaurant became my highlight. I found this restaurant when I looked for restaurant for dinner and they got excellent reviews, and they certainly did not disappoint me. Me and my mom ordered cold papaya soup, tofu fried rice, grilled eggplant with mozarella, eggplant gratin, and chocolate mousse. We... More

We dined here on our first night in Luang Prabang. We sat in a room that felt like a study or library that we all enjoyed. The food was also very good. Half of us actually had fondue and the other half had authentic Loatian food.

We ordered: -a margarita- delicious! -Pineapple shake- yum -Luang Prabang dip and sticky rice- thought it would be more like something you "dip" veggies and bread in like the LP style eggplant dip, but was actually more like a soup. Was good though. -Luang Prabang salad- maybe the best salad I've had in ALL OF SE ASIA. It was just... More

This is a very good place to eat, nice clean & hygienic, you can either sit outside or in their AC hall. They have both local/Asian/Western menu the food taste very good & fresh buy it is very expensive, be prepared to pay over 35U$ for single person NOT including any alcohol drink.

Great service, deliciouuus food! As it is a bit pricier it really fulfilled all our wishes. It is pretty western- oriented but i tried the Indian curry which is to recommend. Will go there again for sure! And good location as you can enjoy the night market right after dinner.

This is a really lovely restaurant. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. I don't think we really had a bad meal during our entire month long trip through SE Asia, but Blue Lagoon stood out as exceptionally good.

Thank Dawn M
