We dropped in for lunch - and ordered a local LB salad. Nicely prepared, delicious and they threw in a cold soup starter and bread as well. Not sure how a full meal would go, but would have been willing to try - you do pay for the little extras though!

My guide recommended I eat here and it was so yummy and the service so excellent I eat dinner here twice. Everything is clean and it is a great place to try local foods without worrying about getting sick. I loved the town and can't wait to return for a dinner here in the future!

We went back to Blue Lagoon after a visit about 5 years ago. Blue Lagoon is one of the older fine dining favourites in Luang Prabang and its standards have not dropped. The Restaurant requires going down an alley half way along a street beside the old Royal Palace (now National Museum). At the end of the well-lit alley, it... More

I had the beef larb, which was absolutely delicious. It was beautifully presented. The staff couldn’t be lovelier and the chef came round to check the food was ok. Prices not expensive. Would definitely recommend a visit. The restaurant is just off the night market.

We went here for 2 nights running because the food and service was so good the first night ( we were only in Luang Prabang for 2 nights) 10 of us came the second night and the service was impeccable.

comfortable setting, varied menu with lots of options,Asian, fusion, etc. Service level was good. We had a fusion option dish which was our best meal in Luang Prabang, well seasoned, fresh ingredients erved at the right temperature

The food, surroundings and service at this restaurant were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We sat in the prettily illuminated garden and it was so peaceful. Definitely a place for that special occasion

Hitched a ride on the hotel’s golf cart down to this restaurant which is down a side street from the night market and then along an alley to be met at the door and taken inside – the inside area of the restaurant is set out like a library and is air conditioned – we sat outside – despite booking... Everything we tried was unusual, a fresh take on old European ideas --and some delicious Lao dishes. The eggplant rolls were tasty and fresh and paired with the fried sausages and sweet chili sauce, our tastebuds were dancing. We tried the beef rolls with mushroom and fig filling and the Lao sampler for main dishes--sorry, we were totally full and... More
