Really good restaurant for tasting original Lao food. Their tasting menu was good and we got a good idea of tastes of Lao. Some were quite spicy so ask from the staff. I really recommend and would go again. I recommend reservation. First night we...didn’t get in, made a reservation and moved to the next restaurant which was almost as good.More

Wow, lovely place and definitely the busiest we have seen in our time here which speaks volumes. We were lucky to get in as there were six of us but they managed it and I am so glad they did because it was fabulous. Started...with rice paper rolls with chicken these were light crispy and full of flavour with two lovely dipping sauces. I then had the Aromatic Pork Stew with egg and this was full of flavour and delicious, my wife had the chicken stuffed Lemmon grass, again a beautiful dish full of flavour, the chicken was moist and had a lovely flavour from the lemon grass. A couple of our party finished off with Laos iced coffee which is very dark and had more than a hint of chocolate to it. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the whole evening was a great experience.More

This was our first taste of Laos cuisine - loved it - lots of herbs and greens and not really spicy. Amongst other things I had chicken stuffed lemongrass - so tasty. And so cheap by European standards.

This was the most expensive meal we had in our whole holiday, but Wow. Incredible service, staff so knowledgeable about the menu, we opted for a menu that gave us a selection for each course and it was heaven. It felt special and testament to...that is that although everywhere was so quiet due to travel restrictions etc, we still had to book. Treat yourselves, you will not be disappointedMore

The Belmond hotel recommended this place, and I'm glad they did.The menu was extensive and had a great selection of things I hadn't tried. Everything was delicious - and a nice terrace too.

Make sure you book a table. Even when tourists were thin on the ground, this place was packed for dinner. We were very pleased to experience authentic Laotian food. Well-priced.

Overall a stable experience - nothing more. I came hungry and left full. The “in between” mattered - hence the 3 stars. Had the bamboo soup, the staff thought it would be wise to eat from the soup ladle (please...), and aimed to take away...the small soup bowl w spoon he initially brought. Then was I constantly asked at least by 3 different waiters if I’m expecting more guests. Till the end nobody removed the extra covers..., the beef salad was ok, but as I had no knife, nor a hand disinfectant could I only eat half. The other half was a bunch of mint leaves/ others - I couldn’t get those into my mouth without cutlery. Overall friendly service - just not professional - for a place which is clearly focus on tourists and charges tourist prices.More

Great food and service at reasonable price. A must go restaurant in Luang Prabang. The best dishes were the starters.

Good local food but slow service and lacked atmosphere as we were inside which was very hot as well. Plates are generous so don't over order and the waiter was very good to advise us of this. Was ok but not as good as others...in town.More

The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful. They advised us what would be best for our three children and we all had a fantastic time. The opportunity to try a number of different things on the taster menus has set us well...for the rest of our time in Laos. We had such a great meal that we went back three days later!More

Hi Sanfrankate. Sadly, you've missed the transport that takes people from the restaurant to our lakeside cooking school. So it's not really possible to join the class after it has started. It's unfortunate you didn't phone... More

Hi Ryan, we have a number of dishes that are naturally gluten free, and several that can be customised to be prepared without soy sauce (which in a Lao menu is the main offender). Our Senior Staff should be able to guide you... More
