Haveli Restaurant is located in the historic Haveli Khalil Khan, which is an architectural landmark in Lahore. Nestled in the lap of history, the Haveli offers outstanding views of the famous Badshahi Mosque built by the Moghul emperor Aurangzeb in 1673,which remained the largest mosque in the world for over 300 years, the Temple of Guru Arjun ( 1563-1606), or Dera Sahib, where Raja Ranjit Singh of the Sikh kingdom of Punjab was cremated in 1839 along with his principal Rani,the princess of Kangra and three other wives, the tombs of Allama Iqbal and Sir Sikamder Hayat Khan, the Minar-e-Pakistan and last but not least, the impressive Lahore Fort with its fascinating history of one thousand years. While the views from Haveli restaurant are incomparable, its cuisine is equally fabulous and satisfying. Our guests are treated like royalty, while they enjoy delicious Barbeque, tasty mutton and chicken dishes, tawa preparations, and our chef's special recipe of Lahori style delicacies.

The Ultimate Experience on Food Street

Haveli has elevators & well heated rooms with 360 degrees views of Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, Minar-e-Pakistan, Sikh Gurdwara and the Old City of Lahore. The food is delicious and served seamlessly by the highly trained staff. While the inside is tastefully done w/ antiques in traditional settings offering clear views of the historical monuments in the close vicinity, the rooftop seating is huge and offers an unmatched experience. Ample heating facilities and immaculate standards of hygiene make this restaurant unquestionably the best on the Food Street. A party of nearly a hundred people last night could not have experienced a better evening anywhere else!

The best in view, atmosphere, taste, attention, quality & pricing

If you visit Lahore and not visited Haveli in food Street, you must have missed 90% of true enjoyment in Lahore. Went there with my wife to enjoy the dinner, sat in a Cousy corner on the roof overlooking amazing view of badshahi mosque. Food was great, service was top class, staff were very attentive and price was very reasonable. Spent 3000 PKR for two people and couldn’t finish that. Had Nan and handi. Never had such an authentic Pakistani dish in life! Always wanted to go back and yes going back there again in next visit. Miss you Haveli as much as beautiful Lahore.

We were 10 friends, we decided to eat the best food our one friend gave us above number for booking and suggestion to visit this beautiful ❤️ restaurant. We reserved our table through this above number on rooftop. The food was very delicious and view of mosque was stunning. We highly recommend this Haveli restaurant!

Delicious Food, out of the world atmosphere, crap service.

Visited on sunday evening with friends after a long day of shopping and was amazed at how the restaurant was set. The atmosphere was out of this world and the food was delicious all served on time and sizzling hot. Our waiter was called Javed working on the top floor in the evening, no introduction had the biggest frown on his face. If you guys want your restaurant to run, you need to improve on the service of javed. I am a restaurant owner myself in the united kingdom and this is not the way to work. I hope you take this into account. And get back to me as i want to hear feedback from this service.

We are committed to providing our guests not only the best quality cuisine, but an overall enjoyable experience. Therefore, we are sorry that you were not satisfied by your waiter / order taker's performance, which prompted you to give a one star rating. You are correct in pointing out the drawback of a reserved personality or serious face in the hospitality business, and we have given necessary corrective instructions to our staff, more specifically the concerned waiter. Incidentally, the waiter in question is a somber soul, a man of few words and not the best in interpersonal skills. However, he does have the trait of never being late for work nor being absent, not involving himself in useless chatter, and generally being honest. As a restaurant owner yourself, you will appreciate this 'behind the scene' aspect.. We hope that you will visit us again and tell us if you feel that our staff briefing / instructions have produced the desired results.

Don’t waste your time

If I could I would rate this place a 0, very poor service ordered food for it to come together but came separately, the chips I ordered were undercooked asked them for a new portion that came undercooked again. The wings I ordered were all cold and they have about 5 different wings options on the menu but only do 1 variety, my drinks came after I finished my food I would recommend go and take your pictures and find somewhere else to eat not worth wasting your time. No organisation and very rude staff and management

Could do better for it guests

I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant and heard so much about it however the overall experience left a lot to be desired. On entry the staff were not really attentive or considerate as would be expected. We were informed a table for two would take 5 to 10 minutes in the end we were waiting for around thirty minutes to be seated. I noticed the waiting staff being rude to other patrons and other customers complaining about the service being offered. Not an ideal first impression but I chose to wait to see if things would improve. Eventually after being seated on the top floor, we were mesmerised by incredible views of the badshah masjid and old city. The food was above average but was not incredible. The wings were great but mutton chops let me down. Mutton karahi was good but not the best in Lahore. Lighting at the tables needs to be improved as you cannot see your food in the evening unless you use your phone torch and are willing to compromise your phone battery. Surely candles or some lighting options should be considered. The restaurant is full of patrons paying a premium so surely this is something that can be arranged. The entertainment staff were great and they did put on a good performance for all the guests. Payment of bills is fairly time consuming, we had to wait around 15 minutes to get our bill. I did complain to management about this and the bill was quickly organised. Overall a little bit disappointing and I feel that the restaurant is capitalising on its location and views and holding back on its full potential to give its patrons a truly memorable and meaningful experience. Needs to do better as the competition will step up and provide better dine in experiences.

However, on certain busy weekends, there may be lapses and delays caused by the crowded conditions that our staff has to cope with. Please accept our apologies for any omissions of taste or delays, and we hope that the experience may kindly be viewed in light of these circumstances. With regards to the lighting, it is mainly done to draw the focus on the surrounding historical structures, by keeping the immediate lighting quite dim. But your observation has due merit, and we will try to create a better balance, without interfering in the overall ambiance and atmosphere. We look forward to your future visits.

Rude and unprofessional Staff with average food

Worst experience, I feel deeply insulted with the staff behavior. We waited for about 45 mins with my irritated baby and they were constantly sending people randomly to the tables. Highly mismanaged environment. Secondly, some high profile guests were there, so the whole attention and services were already occupied there. They refused us Tandoori chaye, although the table next to us was having it but then we argued about it and we were served with an awfully bitter tea. Over all I'd say, the food was average but their behavior is so bad, you wouldn't feel like eating anything with that kind of protocol.

Poor management and Hygien

Iv just visited the famous food street, how ever I was very disappointed and appalled by the service. The manager was rude and not accommodating. We requested a table and was told no problem only to go in and find that the front tables are prioritised for waiters friends and managers family and friends. Kitchen had really poor Hygien and the food that was served was horrendous. Avoid as this place isn’t what meets the eye.

Pothetic Services and Overcharged bill

I visited Haveli restaurant. I went from Rawalpindi to lahore only to visit this restaurant but i am not satisfied with it. First is its service, i ordered 1x half chicken makhni handi and 1 x rahu grilled fish. The fish came which was cold! I told to manager! After that i asked for the bill n paid total Rs 4472. After coming back i am seeing the bill and they have charged me Rs 1195 for the makhni handi chicken! Which was the price of full handi! They also over charged me in many other items I am attaching the bill.

Great View; Good Service; Poor Food

Haveli gets top marks for having created an atmospheric restaurant with stunning views overlooking the old walled city of Lahore. Service was swift and efficient, though my contact knows the management so my experience might not be the norm. I found the level of cleanliness (floors, tables, and toilets—shudder shudder) left much to be desired for the level of restaurant they aspire to be. While they claim to be vegetarian friendly, the vegetarian options are limited compared to the profusion of meat and seafood options. Still, you can find enough variety here as a vegetarian. The food quality leaves much to be desired however. The mutton, chicken, palak paneer were all below average. Just the naan and mint raita were ok. A local street stall serves much better food at a fraction of the price. Haveli trades on its reputation of being a must stop on social media. By all means go for a drink and your photos but then go and eat elsewhere.

We were 11 friends who visited Haveli restaurant for dinner in a food street. The food was delicious and view of the Mughal period's badshahi mosque was stunning. Actually we reserved/ booked our vip table through above number in the title. The staff is very good & cooperative. If you want to enjoy the food & view of the mosque , you should must go there but reservation is very very necessary because place is packed every night.

Amazing food, ambiance

We were a group of 23 here, mixed with foreigners, Pakistani nationals from abroad and locals. All loved the food. The view and everything. It was a chilly January evening and the heaters were adequate (standing) and we were also given coal in ‘angeethi’ - under our feet. I do think this is a little dangerous but no one got hurt or anything. Just have to be careful. The food was all really good - even the foreigners loved it and couldn’t stop eating! Thank you for having us!

The aroma of royalty

There is nothing more exciting than Haveli restaurant food street. The way they welcomed us was remarkable, it almost felt like i own the place. My friends were given water to wash their hands in a traditional manner before the meal. The taste of the food was extremely good. The staff, the value, everything about Haveli is worth visiting again and again, kudos to the team!

We went to Haveli Restaurant for a diner , our tour guide recommended us about the food and view of Badshahi Mosque from the rooftop of the restaurant. We booked our VIP table after calling on the above number. No doubt the food was delicious & view of the mosque was very stunning from our VIP table.

if you are coming to pakistan must visit Havili restaurant in Lahore 🥰 big shoutout 👌🏼for staff and management “Very good service, good menu … not overly extensive. Food was very good quality all around. They know how to prepare home fries and their Garlic Mashroom steak are loaded with cream it was yummy combination . Prices were reasonable.
