Went there in November with a group of 6. Waited for 10 minutes until someone payed attention to us. The arrogant waiter took our order but nothing happened for almost 30 minutes. We asked if we would be served anytime soon but noone seemed to care. We decided to leave and nobody seemed to care either.

The decor is really nice and the European food is one of the best you can get in Mandalay. The service is really good and the price is pretty high compared to other European restaurants but it is worth it. The noise level isn't that high too.

Very western and certainly the hangout of the local elite...however probably the best coffee in Mandalay. Food was good too. Easy to find fromEast entrance to Mandalay Palace. Great air con too!

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and staff seem efficient and polite. The varied menu is mostly American/Western food. We had grilled seafood and Mexican mutton satay. Portions were small. The mashed potato served with the fish was cold. The mutton was on the tough side. The two meals were expensive for what we got. We are returning to Mandalay... More

Foods are good. Staffs are helpful. One of the famous cafe for European food. Foods are expensive compared with Myanmar food. Be aware credit card is not accepted.

Interesting decor as they have American license plates on the wall and American burgers on the menu. A couple of people in my group ordered the pizza and indicated it was quite greasy (they do seem to cook in a fair amount of grease in Myanmar). I wanted "authentic" food so ordered chicken fried rice. Imagine my surprise when fried... More

Expensive place, ordered a burger, we got 7 fries. If you ask for more fries, you have to pay for an other plate. They should be ashamed.

This nice western style cafe serves mainly western style food & drinks but also some Asian food. Location close to entrance to royal palace makes it very convenient. Taste of our food was very good. Service very friendly and fast. Breakfast is served whole day long. Milkshake was very tasty. Good place to cool down after visiting royal palace or... More

the Food was okay, but the portions very small for wat you pay. First time we ate here, I orderd a burger with fries. I litterally had 7 fries with it. We came back two days later, because it rained and we needed a place to shelter. Decided to give it a second change. Still not much for what you... More

Our group of 15 were looking for a desert place for our tea break. Our coach driver brought us to Cafe City. The ice cream , milk shakes and smoothies were excellent . Price was also very reasonable too. Would highly recommend this cafe .

A short walk from Red Canal Hotel but take a torch as limited street lighting. A great bistro style restaurant serving a large range if European (Try the Beef steak or fish and chips) and Asian food, main courses K5000 – K7000. A good selection of French and Australian wine starting from K12,500 per bottle. Fun atmosphere with fast friendly service. Busy on the nights we were there with mainly a younger local crowd so get there early for a table.
