We had dinner here on our second night in Mandalay. The food was definitely much better than our previous meals and reasonably priced. They serve simple local dishes eg curries and sauteed veggies which were served really fast. They also offer a variety of juices and beers. We really just a great time here and to top it all, the... our guide took us here & we had a really great meal with good service. It is not yet in many guide books but have no doubt the new ones will have it. Well worth a visit.

A great walk in the backstreets. A gem to find. The breeze was a great reward... go the tempura!!! The beef dishes was the best I've had in Myanmar.

Lovely spot with a decent view. We only had a light lunch but the food was excellent. Would definitely try it for dinner.

As I did not want to go into Mandalay and just needed an overnight stay, I chose this hotel based on the reviews that said it was out of town. I had asked over the phone for a room with big windows that could open. I got a lovely big corner room with big windows, so there was a view... More

We tried this restaurant twice during our stay in Mandalay because it was within walking distance from our hotel, but the second time really only because so many restaurants were closed during the New Year period. On the first visit we tried a set menu of about 6 courses with a couple of choices, some of which were not available.... More

I found this place on tripadvisor, and it was good: the food was local and tasty, service was friendly and swift... an overall positive experience. But if you're looking for somewhere off the tourist track, this isn't it. But that's NOT a criticism of the restaurant... it's exactly as advertised!
