Wonderful place, a definite must when in Mandalay. The staff is very helpful in choosing the food as well as the correct size portion (large or small) and the food was superb. In two we paid about 30 euros (1 glass of wine, 1 water, 1 fresh pineapple juice, 1 small starter, 1 large main, 2 small main, rice). It... More

We had some lovely traditional food at this restaurant in the most attractive newly built wooden building. Apparently it was much busier when located closer to the centre, so make the effort to go, it's worth it

They offer a set dinner and that's a good deal. The food is clean and authentic even if it is just spiced down a little. Burmese food isn't as spicy as Thai so it's easy. The set offers a local dessert option too. Take that. It is really yummy. Just bring along some mosquito repellent. They have mosquito coils there... More

The restaurant is a short walk from our excellent hotel, but we wanted a change. Warm welcome from staff, delicious food, large choice of dishes and very reasonably priced. Good service, despite a large group arriving shortly after us. I would recommend this restaurant. It also has rooms, but I cannot comment on that.

We went here as a part of large tour group. The restaurant has nice setting and the food was very good. I am a vegetarian and the dishes were excellent.

The food is very good here. Who knew that Chinese kale could taste so good. They will drive you back to your hotel if it is dark out.

We really enjoyed our dinner here, the cocktail menu, whilst limited was really tasty. Dinner was lovely, There were nice enough o book us a taxi home as it is a little out of the way and we would never have gotten one by ourselves without a long walk. This restaurant was well worth the journey. Staff were very attentive... More

Location is good, within 1 km of our hotel. Service is fast and attentive: we got cold beer 30 seconds after we ordered; the waiters speak good English. One head waiter even helped me get the beer label off as souvenir; in the back of the menu, the restaurant offers some brief but detailed English explainations for the words I... More

Our restaurant " A little bit of Mandalay" was born on 8th April, 2002. Opened the Tavern (Inn) in November 2013 with 24 Twin-bedded rooms. We never have had a chain-restaurant nor a franchise in any city (Bagan, Yangon, Inle etc.. ) In Myanmar. Both the Restaurant & Tavern are located only in Mandalay as per above address, and registered in Mandalay. We have this ONE & ONLY establishment in Mandalay only.
