+ A nice restaurant situated by the lake with a great view. + On our 4 days stay at the same hotel, Insula, we eat 3 times here and everytime the food was tasty and fresh. + The youngest stuff are very friendly and attentive - The place is a little bit crowded during the summer months and this may... I ate here twice. The food is not the greatest and I didn't like the waitress. I think that you can find a better place to eat. The location is nice.

As said in the Title, the view is very nice, as the Restaurant is situated by the Lake ... you can also feed the fish in the lake with bread and you will be able to see them eat. Still, this does not compensate for the poor service ... long waiting time to place the order, and when the food... More

We stayed there as guests of the Hotel and had several times breakfast and lunch. The staff is mostly really unfriendly and unmotivated even for Romania. You will find better places in Tulcea. Best thing was they charged you for an additional milk for your coffee.

The menu is typically Romanian but there are some interesting fish dishes. We ate there several nights and in general the food was reasonable and well priced. I found the dishes somewhat under seasoned for my taste but this was easily corrected. There is an outside terrace with views over the lake but it seems smoking is allowed here.

If your search for a nice place for eating in Tulcea it's a good recommendation because it's special. It lays at an island at the sea just be connected only with a bridge withe the land. Nice and romantic places are in the garden of the restaurant and a good view at the sea. The food is ok but not... More

The restaurant had a beautiful environment . But the food ... was not tasty. I ordered chicken with garlic and polenta and i can say that it only tasted garlic, but that garlic paste that is bought in jars, and not the fresh garlic. The chicken was not tender and had skin on it ... left to say .... I... More

Fast service, friendly staff, short menu but diverse, delivers what it promises - very good ordinary food.

We stayed in the hotel and ate at the restaurant. The food was quite bland and very average. They seem to find a way to put several adders onto the bill. A friend and I shared a salad and it ended up being twice the price because they said they gave us a double portion. With the setting it could... More

We spent one night in the city and went to this restaurant.Placed on an artificial island, it looks fine, but... BIG BUT! The food was tasteless they served frozen fish instead of fresh. The ingredients are probable cheap and with no taste we bought a limonade that was awful. . We waited 40 minutes to get the food after we... More
