We’ve had a great lunch here at La Limanu and we enjoyed every second of being in such a cozy place. The fish was perfectly cooked, chicken was lovely and the garlic simply amazing. The deserts came to fill in this amazing experience, perfectly balanced...and cooked just right. The place was very clean and tidy, the staff was polite, friendly and helpful, always wearing masks although there were 30 degrees outside, the ambiance was relaxing and inviting with low volume good quality music, simple and tasteful decor and a great attention to detail. Serving was irreproachable, more people like Anton are needed in this industry. Compliments to the chef, manager and owner.More

I sat down to bring me something to drink for 20 minutes and I refused to eat, believing that it would come just as "quickly". At the same time, the staff is very arrogant and mischievous.

The traditional food and fish based food are very good, but the service was poor. The waiter didint come until we told her to bring some menus, and maybe she had a bad day but it was like everytime we asked for something we were...disturbing her.More

Very good local restaurant in Tulcea, traditional food from Dobrogea (an area in Romania near Black Sea, where Danube Delta is). If you pass by this is the place to eat. Try “Storceag de sturion”. 👍

Dear travel readers, My two experiences from the "La Liman" was extraordinary: peacefull, great music, relaxing and with a beautiful view in the morning when the sunshines where bathing the terace. Also, the interior place is great with relaxing evening ambience and local traditional touches....In terms of food, I have really enjoyed the grilled sturgeon, pike eggs, fishing plăteau, and flounder. The staff also have recommended fresh food and great desert. Finally, it is indeed a great place to visit with friends, collegues, family, etc...More

Excelent dinner- fish borsch ( bors de peste) indeed exquisite. Served in 2 plates, with supplimentary garlic.Strongly recomended - the best 'bors de peste' I have ever eaten. Nice an cozy ambient, with terace view to the Danube. Friendly and welcoming personel. 27 November, Roxana

Been there for a business lunch in mid November 2019 at the recommendation of a local. The restaurant is nicely decorated Delta style, very clean and well maintained. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive to our needs, which worked very well for us since...we were short on time. All food was delicious for everybody. I had fisherman platter, fish borscht and zander with potatoes. Thank you!!!More

we spent an evening there, for a dinner with very tasty food but also with very delayed service the location is really nice, with nice view over Danube, and furbished well it's true also that the food is good but the service was very slow,...most probably the kitchen was overloaded we were lucky that we were not alone, I mean we spoke a lot during the meals, otherwise the overall feedback would be not goodMore

We waited for our order for an hour and a half. Our waitress ignored us the whole time, she didn’t even bother to ask us if we need anything. We had to help ourselves with ice and go order at the bar for new drinks....When finally the order came, one of us received the food 15 min later. The pork ribs were greasy and had no taste whatsoever, they were just dry meat. The staff was unfriendly and unprofessional, we had the impression that they hated us all because they just had to do their job. Some food was ok, but half of the dishes could bearley be eaten. Aviod at all costs.More

It's strange. Sometimes they bring food quite fast and it's excellent, sometimes they are very slow and food is very bad, very low quality.
