Although the location might be great, in the middle of the central boulevard, it is very crowded and noisy. The service was bad, we had to ask twice for everything we ordered. We brought ourselves salt, pepper menus.
The pizza was excelent, but we couldn't...eat the pasta.
I don't recommend this place.More
If you want basic food and don’t care if the staff sneer then this is a great spot. Bruschetta was nice but agricultural, comprising burnt toasted plain white bread triangles with chopped tomato. Pizza and pasta basic but enjoyable and was served quickly. Biggest let...down here were the waiting staff who seemed annoyed at having to work at all.More
Went out with some friends, we had some drinks, pizza and desert, that was it. The waitress did not even bother to clean up the table, we stood for half an hour until she came, she did not even look if we had any drinks...left, she did not care about us at all. Poor customer service. Never again will I come at this location, nor will I recommend this pizza place.More
I went here with my friends,we ordered three pizza and we have waited there more than an hour, the waitress didnt even apologized to us,we just drank our beers and we left, dont go there, its a waste of time
The place is very well located, on the main pedestrian street (Republicii), 100 meters from the Council Square. But this is the only strength of Pizza Strega, the food seeming to be prepared by an amateur and the service, barely decent.
- Great pizza's overall, they even offer smaller pizza's for kids with lighter ingredients.
- Cozy atmosphere offered by the mesmerizing wall paintings and rustic furniture.
- Service can take a long time due to waiters not paying attention to all tables.
-...Some items in the menu are overpriced compared to the quality.More
It was a cold and somewhat rainy Monday. I was supposed to have left Brasov for Budapest the previous evening, but my bus failed to show up, thus stranding me an extra day. The weather really didn’t allow much exploring, so most of the day...was spent trying to find ways to kill time until I could catch the evening bus. The day had the potential to be at best boring and at worst miserable. But then, by chance, I took an outside seat at a table at Pizza Strega. I ordered a simple caprese salad and some wine. (I became quite addicted to several of those wonderful wines that, tragically, I can’t seem to find back here in the states.) The food and wine were quite good, but what won the day was meeting Sylvia, my waitress. What a charmer! Her attentive and outgoing personality made this extra day in Brasov an absolute pleasure. Thank God that bus stranded me! I ended up hanging around much of the afternoon munching on some really great pizza (with prosciutto), imbibing in more of that wonderful wine and chatting about life, the universe and everything.
Sylvia not only rescued that day, but she made that day special. Thank God that bus stranded me!More
We had left Pizza Roma after waiting a long time and no on bothered to come to our table. We found Pizza Strega. We were impressed that the server, who seemed to be on her own, could handle the customers by herself with a smile...on her face. She was very friendly.
The pizza was pretty good. We had the four cheese. I loved the artwork on the walls, and the wall lighting. Interesting atmosphere. Nice view over the walking street.More
