It looks like an old house from the outside but is very modern inside. perfect service, excellent wine, reasonable prices for fine dining. ahi tartar and avocado app--high quality and large enough...for 3 to share. This is a lovely place. Off the tourist route but still popular with locals, and for good reason. The menu is imaginative, the food is excellent, the ambience is lovely, the service is efficient and the prices are very reasonable (especially considering the quality of...the food). The Bloom salad with artichokes, pine nuts, tomatoes, baby spinach and halloumi, for example, was huge and possibly the nicest salad I've had. The beef cheek was absolutely to die for. After going to Bloom I went somewhere else the next day and as soon as I saw the menu I immediately regretted it and wished I'd returned to Bloom. Staff: friendly, paid attention to details, professional, always ready to help and interested to hear our on-the-spot feedback for the food Food: we’ve tried...the hummus and beef tartare for starter then seafood linguini and green tagliatelle with cherry tomatoes and shrimps for the main course. Beef tartare: good, bit chunky (not paste), well blended with cornichons, fresh grinded black pepper on demand and Tabasco sauce - big plus for the toasted bread - which was in fact flame burnt (crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside) - nice and interesting small butter peels for an easier spread on the bread Hummus: nice presentation for just a hummus - plate had good volume on vertical line with good nice fresh vegetables and some amazing tortillia triangle chips. Seafood linguini: al-dente (maybe a bit too much for my taste), nice plating, carefully twisted placed on the plate with cherry-picked seafood arranged (octopus, shrimps, calamari, mussels). Pasta had alone an amazing seafood taste - I believe they used a bisque which made them very tasty. Octopus was one of the best I’ve ever had.
