Great value too - I ordered five food items (including the fish soup twice because it was so good), plus a drink, and the bill came in at less than 23 Lev! We visited BM Zaliva and that was a mistake. The place itself wasn’t that busy and we thought it will be good experience. Our plans were to get a starters and to order some main courses. So we ordered two salads, two tarama maze to...start with and fried chicken fillets and homemade chips for a child together with the starters. Salads and the tarama maze arrived quick but the chicken and chips took some time around 40-45 min. When they serve the chicken they didn’t apologise or give you anything complimentary just pure ruthless. Then we just decided not to order anything else. Moreover they didn’t have the bar menu, and the price for the drinks were a mystery. Bottom line, BM need to value their customers more, to improve their customer service, manners and the way they serve the food. Everything has to come at the same time at the table, especially when children and adults are eating together.More

First the service was terrible, totally not pleasant and not professional. After the sea food was so not well prepared, we ate type of fish and there was no taste the smashed potato had awful taste. They had cats coming to the restaurant ...Expensive for...what it is. Not recommended, I will never go there again!More

Food is fresh and mostly delicious, but is a little bit more expensive. Grilled octopus is a tiny portion at quite a high price. And I would not recommend the salads. Sometimes waiting is a bit long, whilst there aren't many customers. Lovely view of...the beach and the sea.More

A friend send me there the place is nice the waiter was ok only from the menu was items missing that are important to eat.

Poor customer service from the front door. A woman with no manners took us down to the table. She is the one who welcome customers and take them down to their tables before they get seated. She is in the wrong job and this is...the big mistake. We order a few dishes from the menu and everything came separate. Our waiter told us he can’t do anything about it because that’s the way they send the food out from the kitchen. Moreover the food was tasty enough but it is a bit pricey. I don’t mind pricey restaurants but the customer service need to be spot on. Definitely BM Zaliva has to improve this. They can start from the woman at the front door and organise the kitchen to send the food for the whole table together. Furthermore the two bathrooms facilities were a bit messy.More

In an almost empty restaurant, three different people from the staff told us different things - you can sit, you cannot sit, they move us twice, took our order 20 minutes later, in another 20 they had not bring us anything. I cannot imagine this...could happen in an (as we were recommended) high quality restaurant in Varna. We are totally never coming back to this place or any of the other from the chain. And will definitely share our experience widely!More

In general unfriendly staff, slow service low variety of beers and are capable of ruining the experience!

Coming to Varna for just a couple of days, this place was recommended to us by a local friend...and I must say, we love it. Pick any of the fish dishes and you will be satisfied. Apart from food quality, the view is fantastic and...the service is excellent. Now, if you have little children, this place has a playground at the beach. How much better can it get???More

Having seen some of the other reviews after I visited, I am surprised that my family and I found the place to be so good! However, the meal that my mother had she said was the best of her Bulgaria trip, a superb seafood salad...with generous portions, delicious sauce and very reasonably priced. My wife and I both had different chicken dishes which were excellent. Service was prompt and location perfect by the beach. I will go again when next in Varna.More

I am a customer for the past 10 years and always satisfied from the service and food quality. Now the place is renovated and looks pretty good and fresh. The service is perfect as always and the food quality is ok. With the renovation comes...the small portions and overpriced dishesh. Fried calamari with sweet and sour souce 16 BGN and 7 small pieces of calamari. Portion of grilled trout fish 18 BGN, one fillet which is cut in two (max 95 gr.) with 7 potatoes. This is ridiculous and if you don’t change this strategy soon, you will lose all your regular customers. Loyalty is the most important and don’t forget that!More

Would like to share that service and especially food quality had fallen dramatically, especially compared to the other BM restaurant in the Festival complex. Garlic Squids and especially creme brulet were miles away from what I used to have with BM.
