No matter how many times I go there, the pizza is number1 in Varna. Crispy, tasty and beautiful.
A bit pricey for the local standards, but it is worth every coin extra. My favorite is with Proscuito and rucolla.
Food was delicious. Atmosphere is nice. They are trying but can certainly improve the service part. As we sat the waiter remove the tablecloth and started wiping the table up. This could’ve been done way before as the place was empty when we arrived.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant although we had ordered delivery numerous times. It is a cheerful setting with a couple of artificial palm trees and a fountain in the middle, and like in many other pizzerias, guests can watch the cooks prepare...the food.
I can honestly affirm that "La Bocca" offer the best pizza and pasta in town after having tried those in all decent places in Varna. Maybe not as perfectly good as what we have had in Naples and Italy as a whole but very close - tasty and well combined toppings, and awesome yummy crust with the typical board around the base which my wife adores.
The menu is vast, with a great choice of pizza, pasta, salads and starters. Our favourites are all the kinds of tagliatelle and "Rustica" and "Fume" pizzas. The prices are in the mid-range but the food is the perfect value for money. Our waiter, Yordan, was very cordial and helpful.More
Just from the outside I hoped the food would match.
I wasn't disappointed. The pizza dough was especially tasty, although the tomato sauce was bland and the centre of the base was a bit soggy.
Having said that, the atmosphere, service and location made up...for it and I would probably return..More
This was actually my third visit to this restaurant and I was looking forward to visiting on my most recent business trip.
I ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad as starter/side. Having eaten this I waited about 30 minutes for my pizza to arrive. I...finally gave in and asked if it was coming and the waitress just snapped that it was on its way. Another fifteen minutes and still no pizza.
I again pointed out that it hadn't arrived and by this point my colleague had finished his some time ago.
At this point she scowled at me and said what pizza. Realising that it wasn't coming at all I just asked for the bill instead. She walked off and returned with it without a word. No apology, nothing.
It was clear that she didn't care and my custom was of no interest or importance to her.
I come to this city alot and will avoid this restaurant from now on.More
