If you're interested in traditional food, this is not a typical "manicured" restaurant although with friendly staff who spoke sufficient English to get by. I had "komitsky sach" with tongue and tripe.....served with vegetables and melted cheese, it was very wholesome, if a bit greasy,...all served to some dates, tiresome heavy rock music.More

We went here because of the good reviews and it didn't dissapoint. The waitress was nice and spoke English well. The food was delicious and local, trully homemade. We had a chicken kebab in country style and pirate's chicken together with fries and cheese. Really...recommend! Just a note, they only take cash.More

I was hoping for a hidden treasure but that is not what we found. The reviews from this place was so good, but the food was quite bad. The carbonara tasted nothing and the hot plate was oily, had dry chicken (I ordered pork) and...fried frozen vegetable mix in it. The reason for two stars is the price. It is cheap!More

This was the big Discovery of the trip:) . It is a small restaurant on a small street with the most delicios and the most biggest plates! The food was absolutely wonderfull. The portions were so big, that we had to take away the rest....The stuff is really, really friendly. Definitely recommend to all.More

Not bad, but far from excellent. It was cheap, I ordered pork fillets with vegetables and there were more sponges than meat.

Visited Morski Valk after reading comments here. Glad we did. I had chicken and veal and my wife had chicken livers. Both meals were really good as was the portion sizes. The décor is interesting (in a good way!). Very Tolkienesque. Friendly waiter and we...even had a chat with the chef. Would definitely visit again.More

The building does not look very attractive, the waitress does not speak English (she is very reserved - probably overworked and badly paid)... The food is fairly good, the prices are very low. We loved the music (rock / metal). Good choice for metal fans.

Although the building gives the impression that the place does not have much to offer, you are in for a treat: the food is very good, tasteful, homemade cooking at it's best. The paitings on the walls are very well done and the service very...good. The prices are cheap as well. Give it a try, you will not regret it.More

Came here with my girlfriend for a meal and we were very happy with the food - it was traditional, very tasty and cheap! We ordered a soup, salad, fries with cheese, ribs, chicken livers, and also had three draught Bulgarian beers for two us....It was more than enough for two hungry people and we only paid 24LV which is roughly 12EUR. The waitress seemed pleasant, and the location is not that far from the seaside, however seems to be much cheaper than those resraurants standing right by the sea. Strongly recommend this place!More
