Dear customer, if you wanna eat good and not so expensive food this restaurant is the last place you should go! Pri Monahinite has a lot of problems and the biggest one is the bad hygiene problem! Just go to another place - there are much better restaurants near by!

This is your place in Varna if you wish to spend nice time, with excellent service, broad spectrum of national dishes and wines. Cheers!

Visited this restaurant to try to find some good authentic Bulgarian cuisine. Sat outdoors - pleasant if noisy. Starters - we shared a salad, was good and we felt that despite lack of customers (there was a party in another section of the restaurant) things were looking up. Wine was pricey for Bulgaria - local wine from Varna - average... More

Went here with my partner on our first week in Varna and we will certainly be regular diners here from now on! Although there are certainly cheaper restaurants around it is well worth it as the food (I had fish, my partner a pork stew) was exquisite and seemed authentically Bulgarian. Our waitress was very sweet and appreciative of our... More

Good delicious (traditional as well) bulgarian food. Fair prices and frindly atmophere. Menu in bulgarian and English. We use to eat here at least two times, when we visit Varna (almost every summer since 2004).

Food is rather poor, smell inside is rather bad. Nice outdoor seating, Service very average. In general not worth to visit.

We always make sure to have lunch here at least once whenever we are in Bulgaria, either Spring or Summer. The seasonal menu is always interesting and there are traditional Bulgarian dishes you will struggle to find in 'ordinary' restaurants. We have never had any problem with the service but I do have a smattering of Bulgarian so perhaps that... More

Unfortunately upon my return here, the level of service has deteriorated, the ingredients as well. The only dish I can recommend is the fried courgette with yogurt sauce. The salads are bland, due to the hothouse tomatoes used, the meat is from an unknown supermarket quality source, the house wine is subpar and the prices are astronomical! Avoid! The only... More

After being a steady summer customer for nearly 15 years, I must say that I am disappointed. They have eliminated many of the traditional village recipes that I have come to enjoy over the years. The portions are smaller, the bread is not as fresh. The service is uneven and the multi-lingual menu is gone. I fear that this will... More

We ate here on a cool October evening. Consequently, we dined inside. This presents a different experience to outside dining. The character of the building ends at the door. Inside, the place could be a school classroom, nothing special at all. We both chose pork dishes that were well cooked and presented. The salad was tasty. And the bread fresh..... More
