Really great place. So friendly and calm. The food was delicious. I tried typical bulgarian cold soup with cucumber and beetroot. Service was nice. But make sure you have cash cuz you can’t pay with card.
A nice place to eat at Kapana- the art district of Plovdiv. The restaurant serves a traditional but still a modern version of many Bulgarian dishes.Due to its location in the middle of the busiest street in Plovdiv, it is a good idea to book...a table.More
Had diner here with two. The food was quite good - it is clear why this is a popular joint for both locals and tourists alike. That’s also a drawback; it’s always busy and walking in for diner (at least in July) seems nearly impossible,...so make a reservation.
The bill came in around 60 BNG for two courses and some drinks. For some reason this seems to be the only restaurant around in this neighborhood that doesn’t accept card payment - bit annoying.More
The restaurant offers tasty food. The location is perfect, in the heart of the bohemian neighborhood of Kapana.
I recommend cheek meat. This is very good option, as just a few places in Bulgaria offer it, and it is deliciously cooked.

I think others have answered your question. All I can add is to reserve well in advance. We tried this place three or four times, and got in once. The food is great, the service is fine, but the real challenge is getting a table. I think I posted an e-mail on how to reserve as part of my review. Enjoy.
