Really authentic Lebanese food. Lovely small family run restaurant in the heart of old Plovdiv. They treat you as an old friend and food is delicious. Great find

Me and my friends from the Netherlands were walking around plovdiv center when we stumbled upon Mayriges which is a very nice and classy restaurant which we very much enjoyed with their beautiful Lebanese dishes such as their grape leaves and some batata hare it...was great! I would go on and on but you just have to try for yourselves! It’s amazing!More

So me and my fiancé came for dinner and to start off the staff and even the owners were so welcoming and kind. Moving on to the food we had was hummus as a starter and then we had some shishtawook I believe it’s called...but overall it was all delicious and also was complimented by their wines nicely! And for desert I had the Kuneffe and my fiancé had their custard, it was delightful. It was truly a very lovely experience in this nice cosy restaurant! Would totally recommend.More

I have to say that I really like their food, that’s why we decided to visit it for the second time even though for Bulgaria is quite expensive. The only big problem we had is that we ordered too many things not knowing exactly how...big the portions were and we left some food on our plate. One of the owners ( I guess ) Or maybe a waitress came to our table complaining about our leftovers with a very bad attitude then she left and came back just to ask in a rude way” you didn’t eat anything, did you even like the food?” I know that we shouldn’t waste food but I cannot even die to finish it! that was very unprofessional and rude and left us there completely speechless!More

Dear Federica, By asking you ” you didn’t eat anything, did you even like the food?” Nothing wrong to ask that because we care for our client's feedback, it seems you understood wrong because the owner will never ask you with any negative or rude...More

The location and the design of the restaurant are great, highly looked after. Staff are very kind and caring. The food was tasty and there are several plant based options, not easy to find in Bulgarian restaurants. Great wine too! It’s recommended.

We ended up here because of how it looked but was amazed by the elegant taste of the dishes, even thouhg some of them would have the same ingrediense, they tasted differently because of the spices. The waiter was not really skilled on the wines,...but the woman delivering the food was attentive, she said her mother in law makes the food. We got 3 big nice apples at the end as a compliment. Really nice place.More

The food is fairly basic. Service was good, the wine was excellent but the food is slightly uninspired. The vegetarian potato and eggs was underwhelming. Desserts are good. The place was quiet on a Friday, good interior design.
