dinner with a folklore show

If you're looking for a dinner with a folklore show, this is a good choice. The restaurant is well-organized for tourists and events, with traditional folkloric decorations. The food is decent—nothing extraordinary, but it’s a good representation of traditional dishes. The folklore show takes place on weekends, starting around 9:00 PM, and it’s definitely the highlight of the evening. Be sure to book in advance, especially if large groups are expected, as seating might be limited. Note that the final bill includes a charge for the show, which is listed clearly. Overall, we enjoyed the evening, particularly the dancing. I recommend visiting independently rather than with an organized group, as you'll pay less than half the price and have more freedom to choose your meal (group bookings have a limited set-menu). Definitely a fun way to spend an evening!

Very good food. Cold beer and amazing environment. We went with a group of 10 and the food was really well served. Local drinks are a must have.

Good local food, worth a try

Food and dance!

This restaurant offers a 40 minute folkloric show (dancers and singer) on Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m. The evening when we attended except for another couple, we were the only foreigners in the premises, since it was Nursers' Day and the place was overwhelmingly full of women nurses, who gaily joined in the dances with the performers. The food was good and the prices comparable to those of other restaurants without the show. Moreover, since it is a large place and on that day full to capacity, surprisingly the service was prompt and good. It is a good option if you wish to eat well and see a folkloric show.

Good and big restaurant. Large terrace area. Bulgarian traditional food in menu. Very good service. Sadly it was coronatime when we visited, so restaurant was almost empty.

a lovely restaurant

TRADITIONAL BULGARIAN FOOD AND DANCING

I came her a couple of years ago and found it shut. You need to check on which nights it is open because I got it wrong twice. My wife loves the traditional folklore thing and loved this place. I preferred the excellent food and wine. The stuffed cabbage leaves are one of my favourites. The lamb is good and the draught wine is very acceptable

One of the best restaurants in town

We visited this restaurant for lunch at a late hour on a Friday evening and we were impressed by its traditional decoration and the garden design. There is a big garden in the middle containing a small river and miniatures of buildings. The tables are placed around in a comfortable setting and the overall environment is not boring at all, even if you stay there for long. The waitresses were dressed with traditional dresses and they kindly explained the menu to us (English version is available). We ordered around 8 different dishes and I have to say that all were delicious. The Indoors place is also very nice and there must be live music some times. The only criticism to make is related to the very high prices, but this will not be a reason not to revisit.

typical bulgarian food with bulgarian folklore

I have been in this reastaurant with my friends in october, the ambient was amazing, typical bulgarian folklore, and the food was amazing too. We took the typical bulgarian bread with mixed meat grilled, and we drank two bottles of red wine Mavrud Reserve. even the "price for value" was absolutely ok.

The best in Plovdiv!

I like everything about this place! Huge choice of delicious and authentic Bulgarian dishes. Service is remarkable. Restaurant is really big with a beautiful garden for summer times. Also it has very convenient location next to Rail and Bus stations.

Food is excellent, nice portions, good performers - I wish the were open for lunch! I went with my wife, a native Plovdivian, and she loved it too! We'll be back often.
