Situated in Kapana 😍 The atmosphere is amazing - takes you back in time . The lady from the staff was so helpful and informed us about all the different coffee kinds they have . Very good experience . Even if you don’t drink coffee you can find something you would like !

I ordered a flat white there because they advertise outside that they are a specialty coffee bar. Nothing could be further from the truth. The flat white I ordered wasn't a flat white in a hundred thousand years. After one sip, I returned the brew. The second attempt at flat white was again krek the same. Twice also no latte art in sight. That says it all, of course. So you don't drink barista coffee here. There are real specialty coffee bars in Plovdiv where you can drink excellent flat whites and at lower prices.
This brew cost me 7 leva. I've had enough of this kind of misleading marketing. Avoid this place and support the real baristas of Plovdiv.

Superb coffee and delightfully intimate and cozy space which makes you focus on the here and now. The coffees offered are superb and as opposed to other speciality coffee places in plovdiv, this place has a soul. Angel's passion and energy is felt in how the place feels and how well his offered coffee roasts are. The place's rustic feel is an experience that adds to the coffee served. Unpretentios unique place in the heart of kapana.with an owner who is delightful to have a chat with.

Fine coffee. More suited to the purist. Tiny place. Feels like the real deal.
Coffee did not stun but good nonetheless.
No choice of pastry or suchlike. Need to look elsewhere for anything like that which is the way it is.

Amazing place.Best coffee we had in PLOVDIV.We enjoyed it in the beautiful veranda garden.Especially helpful that opens at 8 o’clock in the morning and after jogging in the park you are a rewarded with this experience.

Having moved to Plovdiv from the United States, my big fear was obtaining coffee that I liked. Knowing that Bulgaria is not a big coffee country I would order my roasted beans from the States. Big mistake! When I discovered Angel's Coffee Craftex, and met with angel, we discussed in detail what beans were available and different roasts. He roasted a kilo of Ethiopian for me. To my surprise, he listened, and roasted the beans to PERFECTION!!! Thanks Angel, you won me over. Looking forward to going again and telling others.

It’s really the best place for the coffee lovers in Plovdiv. This small and cosy place in Kapana district offer a big choice of coffee blends roasted at place. The charming atmosphere and the pleasant staff will make you wish to come back.

Angel's coffee shop is the best coffee shop I visit across all country. Every time i leave his cafe I have gained a new knowledge and some wisdom. He is one of my favourite people to visit. He is wise and knows his coffee and above all is humble. He is passionate about his coffee shop and want nothing more then for you to have the best experinces.
When he service you a quality coffee he include conversation. This was surprising to me but for him he strongly beilever it is part of the whole experinces.
He is the only coffee shop that roaste his own beans in town.
Visit his coffee today and ask him any questions and prepare for a good conversation and a good cup of coffee. :)
The last thing he said to me was along the line of "share the knowledge in life with other don't be greedy and keep it to you self. There is beauty in sharing "
Thank you Angel for making my experinces in Plovdiv amazing. I will be back soon.

A hidden gem! The coffee is so fresh and delicious I found myself visiting time and time again. The owner is lovely and speaks fluent English. He had invested in a new coffee roaster from Turkey and took great care and pride in providing a variety of good quality, great tasting beans for optimum flavour. Loved the way he made my coffee and also enjoyed great conversation on each visit. My favourite place in Plovdiv
