Driving through town and needed a non-fast food lunch for the family. This place is old, smells bad, and dirty. Holes in the entryway plugged up with steel wool to keep critters out aren’t a good sign (though I’m glad they are trying to keep...critters out!) Everything is old and dingy and needs a good scrubbing. Bathroom hallway smelled like open sewer, floor shifted when I was grabbing a paper towel, wall next to sink was water damaged from all the sink splashing and worn down to pasteboard layer. Drain in front of toilet has exposed wood layer under linoleum that was visibly water damaged. Wallpaper patches were thumb-tacked to the wall on the way to the bathroom. Mirrors and decor all needed cleaning, layers of food splatter on the outside of the garbage can in the dining area, all these things add up to owners who don’t care. The 1 server/bartender was nice and doing her best, though she did bring us fried portobellos we didn’t order. When she came back around, we told her and she took them right to the table they belonged too. Good thing we didn’t touch them or cough on them. The place was full on Tuesday at lunch, so food took a long time to come out. It was ok. The watermelon and pickle on my plate had seen better days, and pineapple tasted like it had been cut long before and absorbed flavors from the fridge or something. Pesto on my sandwich had no flavor, but turkey was good and thick-cut. One kid liked his pizza, one kid had to spit out big chunks of bacon fat from his pizza (honestly, that’s hit or miss when you order bacon on pizza). Wouldn’t be surprised if we got food poisoning from this place, though I really hope we don’t! I feel bad for the employees. I’m sure they are short-staffed like everyone else, but they have the added hardship of a place that is dirty and falling apart. What a bummer of a place to work!More

I have dined here multiple times during a business stay in town. The pizza is the best thing on the menu and was fantastic. Conveniently located to the Courtyard (which i also highly recommend).

I first want to say that I didn't eat dinner here and I wish I had. This is a 5th generation family business. They roast their own peanuts, almonds, cashews and I can say without a doubt they were the best tasting. We had some...drinks and pleasant conversation with owner and bartender. I will go back .More

We often head to Cascarelli's in Homer, Michigan when we have a special event. It's definitely a family favorite. Never disappointed. The salads are huge and delicious, but it's the pizza we want. Great selection of beers and wines. Always good service.

We had a wonderful time at 'Rellis. We had never ordered the burgers before (we always enjoy the pizza so much), so we tried burgers on this visit - and they were fantastic! It has been over 20 years since we were last here (and...I love that it still has so many original features), and Jim and his team did not disappoint...make sure you take home some of their roasted nuts. Thanks for a great lunch!More

Food was fine, good assortment of beer. Friendly service. No problem getting a table or a spot at the bar. Probably hasn't been redecorated in a very long time so the atmosphere is rustic.

For decades this has been a gathering place. It has been popular because it is what we have and the owner liked by many. New restaurants are opening in the area so it could be so much better by paying attention to the condition of...the carpets, booths, and chairs. It could have real mashed potatoes. I'd recommend the pizzas and burgers, the ribs on the weekend, and the jazz on Wednesdays. And also the peanuts and cashews which are roasted on site and great with beer. But in my opinion there are changes that need to be made to rate more stars.More

Dirty, old, needs renovation, but it is one of the only places to eat in Albion. Not likely to recommend or return.

Sue is awesome! This is top notch in downtown Albion. Great food- don’t miss out on the breadsticks, pizza, or the French dip. Thank you!

Ask for Jim Cascarelli when you are there, he's one of the last true members left there tending to the family restaurant bar there in Albion. The beer selection is great and the location cant be beat, sit and watch the main drive or sit...back and just take in the locale ambiance.More

The Albion College Jazz Band performed the night we were there. They play from 9-12PM. We didn’t dine there, but, the food smelled delicious. Lots of Pizza’s being served. The drinks were priced just right. A good time was had by all
