We stopped here for lunch and fell in love with the place. There is seating outside with tables surrounding an old well. There is also indoor seating with an antique middle east atmosphere. The restaurant can get crowded but still we were served promptly. We...had the chicken ka-bobs which were excellent. The meal was topped off with baklava and Bosnian coffee, which was also good. We really enjoyed ourselves and found the staff friendly and helpful. Note -this is a Moslem restaurant so you won't get a glass of wine.More

You can’t really miss Šadrvan when in Mostar; its prominent position straddling the main road off the bridge (together with its size and decoration) make it prominent, and the Bosnian theme of the place is tastefully done and quite cool (particularly outside, where the restaurant...also offers a lovely space to sit beneath the trees and watch life in Mostar pass by). On that basis alone, I’d recommend going - but it’s also just a really very good restaurant. With the caveat that it’s a little expensive for Bosnia (although nothing on Western European prices, and Mostar is quite touristy anyway) the food is excellent. It’s varied, it’s tasty, and it allows you to get to grips with what Bosnian food is in an easy and user friendly format. The staff are used to tourists, and the menu is translated. In around 5 weeks in Bosnia, I had the nicest food here by far (and, having first visited almost a decade ago, I was pleased to see that it was still going strong). If in Mostar, a real must.More

Title says it all. Great place for lunch. For Coeliacs, the fries are gluten free because they are cooked in a separate fryer.

This restaurant is in the heart of the old part of the town. It doesn't look out to the river, but is probably the most charming national food restaurant in the region. It is just beautiful, and atmosphere is lovely. Service and the music are...great. The food is very good. It is not excellent and that is the only reason it isn't getting 5 stars. But I would highly recommend it when you are visiting Mostar. Especially if you need to sit indoors.More

I have eaten dinner here twice in the past month and both times the food was fresh, flavourful and delicious. The house-made red wine is wonderful. Service both times has been spot-on and the friendly, easy vibe of the staff and other patrons makes for...a wonderful evening of great traditional cuisine with a laidback atmosphere. Please do not hesitate to enjoy a delightful meal and experience when you are in Mostar.More

On the plus side, the food was interesting and served promptly- once the waiter gave me some attention. It seemed because I was a solo foreigner they couldn’t be bothered. Not at all friendly or attentive, even though the restaurant was two thirds empty. Obviously...a place which suffers from too many tourists.More

I went to lunch with my wife. We wanted to try local meal called cevapi. It was real excellent. So tasty. Wonderfull. I made mistake ordering french fries. It was eccellent but you only need cevapi, somun bread and ajvar souce. I hope to come...again. Next time in Mostar going there again. Waiter was very friendly. Good guy. I left him good tip. He deserved it. Thanks Sadrvan!More

It’s a must-visit when in Mostar. Delicious typical food, great atmosphere. Try national plate, where you find all the typical bosnian food. They have great baklavas.

We just loved our meal. We had a lovely seat in a gorgeous room and the service was great. We enjoyed some lovely Bosnian wine (it’s so good!) and beers too. We ordered peksimeti which were a revelation, just delicious. My partner ordered a small...meat platter which was HUGE and I’ve never seen him eat so much he just devoured it. I ordered the braised with a side of mushroom cream, which I still drool when I think about it, just divine.More

The atmosphere was very pleasant. The service was excellent. We had a very good lunch. At the end, we were served traditional Turkish - oops- I meant Bosnian coffee. It was very good. ' The restaurant is located near the classic bridge. Plus, there are...many shops located there but be careful for professional pick-pocketersMore
