I see now that I was there last time in January
Before that I was there more often..They was perfect! Who likes Chinese, ofc as I do. I tried so many dishes there, so I recognize when some dish is much worse than before!
Fried...chicken in lemon juice with sesame was great and now is a joke! You barely feel meat, much more fried and sesame is not at all in your plate
No, from me - 4.
Next time will be 3.. 2..More
Well, I love Chinese and Thai food. For my full belly is enough white rise and Soya sauce with a pinch of sechuan ;D
No kidding, best in eastern Serbia! Either you like pork, chicken, beef or just vegie you will be happy and full....Prices are around 3, 4 euros
Sorry... do not have photos, I was very hungryMore
We had a nice inexpensive lunch here. Nothing fancy but the food was pretty good.
Waitress was okay. So being expatriates this was at least a chance for something different. Good enough for us to do again some day. Worth a try.
Da Mu Zhi is a really nice Chinese place. OK, if you compare it to what you find in San Francisco or Melbourne, it's not that great. But it's awesome for Nis where there is no food variety at all.
The food is tasty, the...prices are reasonable (especially if you go for noodles) and there's a takeaway - what else could you want?More
Niš has seen several Chinese places come and go, but this one is here to stay. The food is excellent if you like to try something out of the ordinary in the oh so monotonous food scene in Niš. The prices might seem a bit...steep, but the amount and quality of food that you get for that is amazing. They also have a wide selection of drinks, including some original Chinese beverages. The beauty of the restaurant is in the fact that the kitchen counter is open, so you can practically observe your food being prepared. A pro tip: If there are three people, two dishes will be enough for you to share, since you need a large stomach capacity to eat the entire portion meant for one person.More
Da Mu Zhi provides for a very tasty meal, much better than many chinese restaurants i have tried. You can opt to have your very own combination, choosing between a variety of options. If you are into changing a routine in Niš, being a mainly...meat loving city, i recommend this.More
In Nis, when it comes to restaurants, lack of variety is a big let-down for me. Normally, you don't even need a menu to choose from, because the dishes offered are the same in all kafanas (traditional restaurants). Da Mu Zhi, is our alternative choice...when we just need to escape from meat, meat, meat... and eat something different. And being a chinese food lover, I can also say that the dishes are very well prepared and very tasty. I would really enjoy it more if the decor and philosophy were less "fast food" and more restaurant-like (a more comfortable sitting for example) and if the menu was easier to read (I find it a bit complicated and confusing) Apart from that, I will surely visit again and recommend to all that wanna try different cuisines, as I find the food delicious.More
When a restaurant in Nis serves junk food it goes down the drain really fast. Partially because the living standard in this area of the country is not that high and partially because most of the people are used to great food. Gourmet culture in...Nis is very developed. People hate fancy, urban restaurants with horrible food that is usually overcharged. So you can see Chinese restaurants open up everywhere like mushrooms, but they close as fast unfortunately. Da Mu Zhi fairly earned it's star in the cities predominantly Serbian food restaurant sky. Food quality is excellent. Service is b+, usually very kind, but sometimes not very organised when there is a full house. The star of the show is the chef. He cooks at the same pace, when they have two tables booked, and when the joint is packed with hungry Serbian people. Food always goes relatively fast. It is delicious. I recommend that you try the "four delicacies soup and chicken with mushrooms, veggies in oyster sauce. Prices are good, it is affordable. Especially for tourists with higher salaries ;). The thing that impressed me even more is that i ate there maybe 50-60 times, and the quality was always impressive. Consistency of the food quality is great. The place it self looks nice, it is very clean, but it is not super fancy, it's not for special occasions, but who cares when you exit with a happy feeling in your tummy. :)More
