Every time we are in Serbia, Plava Frajla is our first stop! It is conveniently located just a short walking distance from downtown and especially in the summer, their terrace surrounded by foliage provides a cool shade and privacy feel you just don't expect finding in the middle of the city. The restaurant has a traditional feel, and the bathrooms... More

Went here when we went to novi sad. friends of ours wanted to see the vojvodina match, and it was great. We had a starter with typical Serbian meat ans cheese. The portions were good. Bit to much for me. But it was all great food, the dessert was awesome called markiza, you have to try this!

Traditional cuisine made awesome. Food is one of the best meals I've had in my life. Seriously, I event told my mom their soup was the best I've had ever, so you know I mean it. You can't go wrong with your order, but make sure you order white chicken soup. You can thank me later. Be aware that portions... More

Went there with my wife for several times after my first review and I can only add that I will be coming again. It's a traditional restaurant with constantly good food and service. It's a type of place you choose when you want to be sure that you will be full and satisfied. Comfort food at its best

I went to this place with 3 of my coworkers after a business meeting. Even though we went there at around 4pm, the place was packed with people, meaning it's very popular locally. We were seated immediately at a nice table and were served by a quite decent waiter. The food was ready within minutes, as we ordered pretty popular... More

We were a big group of 32 persons visiting Plava Frajla. This was not a problem and food served quickly and of high quality. Got traditional starters with dry meet, cheese and salat. Main dish the traditional BBQ of chicken, lamb, pork and beef. All very tasty and delicious. The restaurant is located in the sports complex and a bit... More

Most places in Serbia seem to have a similar offering of grilled meats and I am not complaining but Plava Frajla is a bit different. Mainly serving regional cuisine (Srem, Banat and Backa) the food here is more akin to what you'd find in home cooking across Central Europe. A true testament of the Austro-Hungarian impression on Novi Sad, it... More

I visited this restaurant several times and every time I ate food was excellent. Service is good. They had no problem with extra wishes: to substitute potatoes with vegetables.
